It also helps that he has the full backing of his employer Turner Sports. Last time I checked fat 30 something women don't make up TNT's NBA core audience, so, TNT, they give zero fucks about them.

Hey bro. Went to San Antonio last in 2008 and visited a Hooters location in Live Oak, which is slightly north of the city. The women there were some of the most amazing I've seen in the franchise. It goes to show that Latina women with their shit together really shine.
The city as a whole however is just fat Latinas though unfortunately & it's a total disgrace. If the Latinas there in San Antonio had their shit together like the ones in Miami or say Dallas/Houston in state....would be a decent place.
Not a fan of San Antonio nevertheless & Sir Charles is dead on.

Texas as a whole is. I remember moving to Seattle for a deployment and notice something strange about the city. Couldn't put my finger on it. I finally realized that you don't see too many fat people. My brain was conditioned to see only fat people.
It's like flying on a Mexican airline. In the states everybody flies. Rich or poor. In Mexico only the rich. My people dress fly and are stuck up and entitled.

San Antonio has to have the lowest percentage of attractive women of any decent sized city in the US. Walking around downtown is depressing because all you see is wildebeasts waddling to their next meal. Some white some black mostly hispanic and all utterly abhorrent to the eye.
What Chuck is referencing though is a long running joke in NBA media circles. The two best teams in the west are the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder. So all the media dreads having those two teams in the western finals because they will have to spend a week and a half in those two cities. As of last year they were the only NBA cities without a direct flight between them which is another reason the media guys hate that matchup.
To be fair not all of Texas is full of fatties. Austin is actually in the top 10 fittest cities in the US. The upper class parts of Houston Dallas Fort Worth also have very few. The rural parts of the state are suffering from an unprecedented obesity epidemic though. Drive thirty minutes out of any city and it is not uncommon to see that the majority of people could not walk up a flight of stairs. I was driving through the country the other day and I saw a bake sale in a small town so I stopped to check it out. What should have been a Norman Rockwell painting ended up being emblematic of everything thats wrong with America. A lady was actually resting her excess fat on her bake sale table.
