and I've still got a potential 8.7k in winnings if Trump takes the popular vote as well.

So I've already won $82627 and could see up to a 91k return, with my outlay being 24k.

So I didn't get the best odds overall, with most of my money going in at the 3.2 to 3.5 range, but still happy and I knew I was getting a great deal since Trump was much better than the odds on offer all the way through.

I won £1830 with different bets. Still another £900 outstanding for the % of vote Trump got and its still not done yet.

Hindsight is always used in this and whilst I could have won a hell of a lot more, I'll take my winnings with a big smile. The Don got in!

Trump won't take the popular vote. California will tilt it in Hillary's favour. You can only back Hillary at 1.02 on betfair.

Damn, you degenerate Aussie gamblers! My hat's off to you...

Predictit.org takes around 15% off the top so $250 ended up being around $1000 after a few buy outs I took and final pays + fees. I'm happy with the 400% return.

With bet365 I'm in a slight predicament. I can withdraw 650 and lose my bonus 650 unless I bet 400 of that bonus. To make 250 more eligiabke for withdraw... thing is I don't know where or what to bet he 400 on now without realistically losing it. I'm kind of pissed with that. I've not really looked into paddy power or winner but they don't seem to be letting my withdraw either. I pulled an all nighter n now at work so I'll look into it later.

Find any bet which has close odds to an exchange like smarkets. Place the bet with bet365 and lay it at the exchange. You lose a couple of quid but gain +395 when all is settled. PM if you need more info. Happy to help.

I think that was probably the best idea.. I've done some higher risk bets across the board. I've placed bets on 28 soccer matches over the weekend. Most of which are today. Last one is one 11th November (Saturday). Most of the games are today.

I bought some after he won the primary when odds were terrible. Then bought a lot more at 5.5x after the pussy video. Ended up with 4.17 odds. Had many opportunities to sell and rebuy but wasnt attentive.

What was harder than buying in was not selling out. Almost everyday I felt like pulling out because of the media kept demoralising me. I kept telling myself if she wins it's over for us anyway and 35K won't mean shit. Besides I make 150K/year anyway.

This year you made 290k.

Well done everyone, maybe we should start a thread for the French election?

Some prices here http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/g/8604762/Next+French+President.html

I heard from a French relative that Sarkozy was going to do well but he's 9-1.

For the clueless people like myself, that look at this big missed opportunity.

Also, newb question and thought experiment.
If I would have bet
1000 € on hillary, 3:1
and
1000 € on Trump, 5:1

Would I have liabilities of 3000 € for Hillary and 5000 € win for Trump --> 2000 € profit?

Fucking hell - I had Puts in SPY and Calls in ABX. Things were looking great overnight, was gonna turn $1000 into $5000. By morning things settled, volatility collapsed, and I was left with $200 left in my pocket...

Wish us Canadians could have participated in the betting markets. :(

No.

You would lose your 1k bet on Clinton, and gain 5k from your Trump bet, plus your 1k stake returned. Assuming your bet was Clinton to win.

The type of betting in the datasheet is more complex and I'm not familiar with it at all.

I have a feeling that winner.com/winner.co.uk may well be a scam site. I betted there and I know of another member who did perhaps on my own recommendation. They were offering the best odds and had a generous sign up bonus. I have no been able to withdraw my funds and they've put in a rule that I have to

http://www.bet2wintips.com/winner-uk-free-bet-offer

Winner.co.uk Bonus Terms and Conditions
- All new depositing players to Winner Sports will receive 10 Free Casino Spins on top of the 100% up to £200 bonus. Free spins and bonus will be automatically credited to the players account once the deposit has been made.

- Your qualifying bet must be placed on odds of 2.0 (Evens) or greater with the free bets credited only after your first deposit has been settled.

- The offer is only available to customers in the UK only, customers using Neteller or Skrill are not eligible for the free bet offer.

- You must have settled bets to the value of eight times your first deposit (capped at £200) and bonus before making a withdrawal.

- At least 50% of your bets towards the turnover requirements must be placed on multiples (bets with more than 1 selection).

- If the turnover requirements for this offer have not been met within 7 days of receiving the bonus, winnings and bonuses held in your balance (both bonus and cash balance) will be forfeited.

I am supremely pissed that odds checker have vetting them and deemed them to be an acceptable betting company. I guess it is unsurprising that they have received appalling reviews from this website.

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/casino.winner.com

There are claims from some reviewers that this company is withdrawing money from their bank account at will.

In the heat of the moment and suresightedness of a trump victory I was willing to put money down on a company that was ultimately out to scam me. Fortunately I won enough elsewhere to cover my £200 initial deposit. For those members who use this site off of my own recommendation I am truly sorry.

I wouldn't bet on the Frogs and their bullshit political and domestic cowardice if I was forced. Le Pen will be rail roaded by the opposition and the liberals will elect their elite pay masters as usual despite their country spiraling into the abyss.

Not wise to do the same for french elections because it is not a one-time vote. Marine will probably prevail in the first vote but not in the second.

Most betting websites have a rule that you have to let the "free play" points rollover a certain amount of times, so if you used the free play points to bet, you can't withdraw for a certain amount of time. If you don't take the bonus, or if you don't use the free play (depends on site) then you can withdraw immediately.
I was confused at first until I looked into it a bit more, and talked to them (sportbetting.ag) on the phone.

This is a cross-post from the other relevant threads:

First of all, thank you to those that started the various betting on politics threads as you as a whole eventually convinced not only me, but others to bet big league on this election.

A number of you have PM'ed me, I've tried to pull numbers out of the various threads, but I know there's still a few winners at least missing. I included profit (stake subtracted), but did NOT subtract fees or taxes as these vary greatly and are not really that significant to this summary. I'm pretty confident the forum membership made over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS on this election as you can see below we are already basically there.

Please PM me if you or someone else you know is missing from this list or if you think I made an error. I will be updating this as more information comes to me. It's been a really fun time getting it together.

I don't post about politics, but this is a special time:

Just cashed in bet slips for a thousand!
Thanks Mr. President-elect

All my friends who bet on Trump thanked me for the tip, and those who didn't now see me as a wise man. Thanks RV forum, 100% quality info here.

:) :) :)
