I'll preface this by saying I'm not agreeing/disagreeing with your comment @infowarrior1 ; I'm requoting the twitter link in your comment because it has audio, while @Easy_C original post does not. (I may be doing something wrong on my end?)
Context?
What happened before the camera started rolling?
Listen to the voices and reactions of the person(s) filming.
For starters, the black guy's eye gaze seems to shift focus between the actual camera and another specific individual (or small group) to the right of the camera view (out of our sight); his words do not appear directed at the randon people walking by him on the crosswalk.
Possible scenarios:
1) Black guy randomly started shouting for no provoked reason.
2) This was a set up. Black guy was harassed/slurred first (or even had something thrown at him?); stopped to (foolishly) confront the individual(s). While distracted, another punk-Asian player in the set up comes from behind and sucker-punches the black dude.
The editing work of the limited camera footage tells me something very relevant has been deliberately not included.
