just got back to my apartment in brookline (small suburb right outside boston). it's crazy out there, sirens everywhere. still finding suspicious packages and evacuating people

samseau, had no idea you lived in boston.

yeah its crazy. they just found one in a hospital too-- "a military style duffle bag in the ER" is what I just heard.

I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner at a sporting event or parade. This bombing sure looked well planned. The police/FBI will probably find out who did this quickly.

Some of the runners who finished at the time of the explosion continued to run to the Boston Hospital so they could donate blood to the casualties.

For all the talk about how this country is going down the gutters, there are still a few good people out there.

Not what I needed a couple of days before going to NYC. The city is going to be on edge.

I hope all the injured make it out ok, on a positive note the loss of human life seems small at the moment.
