Feels similar to the Jan 6 trap created by the democrats.

They created this image that a "coup d'etat" is when citizens walk into a government building. Well a building is nothing.
A "coup d'etat" might be possible when there is a clear leader and this leader controls the army and the police. And also has the vocal support of several other states in that. All this is not there if im right.

Seems Bolsonaro is eating KFC in Miami. And this seems not the army, but just a bunch of unhappy, unorganized citizens, as it was on Jan 6 that are being sucked into a trap.

Gives a great opportunity to Lula to call Bolsonaro a terrorist, as the US did to Trump, the Germans did to this fringe group who "planned" to storm the Reichstag.

It seems to be just a new trick in the book of the socialists framing the opponent as "democracy" haters, terrorists and gives them a chance to prosecute the full Bolsonaro administration. I think we will see a lot more of these "stormings" the coming years.

I think governments are very good in assessing risks, and seems these people are provided a free walk through to the ministry of justice. And now Lula will call in the army / police and lock em all up, all for the safety of the people.

All the "good" people are supporting Lula:

Curious how this will play out.

This is not going to succeed if at least half of military and police is willing to back the people. I'm afraid that turning this around at this point means civil war.

I see a lot of people talking about the possibility of a communist dictatorship in Brazil but I don't see that happening, Lula has no enough political or popular support for that, our supreme court is liberal and anti-right but not communist, in fact they worship the republican system.

There will, however, be persecution of dissenters and strong media regulation.
