i first learned about the Bronies pathology when a couple of them appeared on Jerry Springer

I am not one myself - but you gotta' lay off these guys. They are happy and not doing any harm. At the end of the day being interested in My Little Pony is no different to being interested in crappy shit like Star Wars or Lord of The Rings.
I am not interested in Sart Trek myself. But I do love the episodes involving the strange God-like character called 'Q'. Anyway - the actor who plays 'Q' (John de Lancie) actually raised money and put together a documentary about the fandom involved in the Bronie community, since it reminded him of the abuse that Star Trek fans got in the early days of the show.
So - if Bronies are cool by 'Q' they are cool by me...
By the way - John de Lancie is a cool guy. He was in Breaking Bad and only does shows that he likes. Hence he doesn't work much. Anyway - in a recent interview he said he was going to take 6 months off work to go sail his boat around the world!
