This has been long coming. The breakthrough pioneer was Sir Mix A Lot's magum opus "Baby Got Back" of course. To this day whenever I am on a dancefloor and this song gets played - and it always does - all the girls go wild, start grinding hard and singing along. Twenty years of hip-hop culture permeating American society has taught us all the glories of DAT ASS. I welcome this trend. This is yet another example of African-American culture spilling over to White-American culture. I think another reason is that naturally big boobs are just rare. Asses are more abundant, easier to achieve, and more enduring. That's why most of my guy friends say the same thing - ass is necessary and breasts are like the icing on the cake but not as necessary. What other choice is there? Legs have been overshadowed in America which is unfortunate. I was never a big legs guy until I went to Europe, which forever traumatized me. Now I cannot be attracted to short girls anymore, like I used to be. Seeing so many long-legged girls over there forever altered my tastes. So a lot of this stuff is just the effect of what you’re exposed to. Same with race. When I grew up in a really White neighborhood, those were the only girls I liked. Then I lived and worked in a Latina area and guess what? I developed a Latina fetish. This trend just highlights how easily humans are influenced by environment and media, even when they think they are strong-willed.
