Buying Amazon returns... viable biz or a bet?

Okay so I saw a couple of really big videos in which some guy bought from a website a package of amazon returns for like 400USD that contained an estimated value of something crazy like 4000.

It had a bunch of sketchy returns, where the customers gave back a broken piece of equipment or returned it empty, however he always got profit out of it.

Do you think this is a viable business model? To some degree it is not completely calclated but you can check the manifiesto and some shitty pictures when you´re buying.

I kind of want to start a business off of this but I´m not sure how reliable it would be.

If you have specific knowledge in a particular area which you can combine with buying returns then it’s a perfectly viable business.

For example, there are shops on eBay who buy returns of garden machinery, fix little niggles like tack welds or starter cords breaking and then sell them on at a discount.

Where do you buy the stuff? Also where did he sell.

It’s worth trying at least once. I’m interested.

He did it through a website called liquidation.com

They do not post proper pictures but they show the manifesto which includes everything that should be in the crate.

The people that do this usually sell them off ebay .

Been watching a couple of guys doing it and thay make moreless x3 profit so not a bad deal. I´m in Spain right now so I+m not sure how much would i have to pay in taxes and whynot.

So I took a look at the website and you pretty much bid on stuff. In the YouTube video the guy says it’s just a random box full of returns.

The guys that you seen that are doing well, are they buying random packages or targeting a certain item?

You bid on what you want. The bids contain a manifiesto which shows all the products that the box has and its estimated value. If you get that bid for cheap (around 200-300) it might be a sweet business.

Ok, I’m going to take a look into this later today. Any recommendations on the type of things to bid on? I think I’m going to start with iPads and tablets.
