So how does it work in the strip clubs? Are all the girls pros? Do they straight up offer sex out in the open? I know a few trashy joints in Jersey where you can get extras. They offer you a private dance in a small room then offer up extras for cash ...so I've heard.

Every broad has a price.

With game you can get it cheap or free.

Some dudes drop 5 bills. Some drop 5 bucks on one drink. Lulz. [/u]

Well in Costa Rica the strippers come up and offer you blowjobs. It's so funny.

In Bogota, the strippers take guys from the crowd on-stage and blow them in front of everyone, for free!

If it's legal and those selling their bodies are of consensual age, there shouldn't be any controversy.

A prostitute does not sell her body. She (or he, I suppose) sells her time and her attention.

In my 22 years in Canada i've only seen 2 street walkers. Prostitution is far from rampant here. In fact quite the opposite. I'm shocked when someone said there are tons of prostitutes in Montreal. I suspect that one would get this impression if they are hanging out in strip bars. Other than that I dont find it very existent.

There are streetwalkers in Vancouver, but they are only tollerated in very specific areas. The impression I got when there was that as long as they stay in the tollerated areas police won't give them too much trouble. I have no objection to legal prostitution, but picking up some random hooker on a street corner is pretty much the bottom of the barrell. I think it may be a bit of a fetish with some guys. I remember a local billionaire being caught with street-hookers in his car. Well, being caught for class A drug possesion, where it came out he was with hookers at the time of arrest. A billionaire, but his idea of a good time was picking up streetwalkers in the worst part of town. His name was Mr Something Ho. I kid you not.

I think the legal staus of prostitution in Canada is that it is legal to be a prostitute, but not to "live off the avails of prostitutioni" i.e. It is illegal to be a pimp or madam.

Correct, this law also applies to bodyguards for the girls, which is a dangerous situation for them

you'd hope body guards or drivers would be able to rationalize in court they were not involved. I mean, drivers & bodyguards are not necessarily linked to just prostitutes, obviously.

I'm sure it's a wonderful situation to legalize prostitution but make it illegal for them to have protection or drivers.

Remember Hugh Grant? Sometimes the rich/famous just need the thrill of slumming. Doing something grimy for the thrill.
