onboard flight screen on Turkish Airlines recognizes main Donbas city Donetsk as being in Russia...
I saw noted elsewhere, if this were Turkish Airlines, surely they would use the spelling Türkiye when referencing Elâzığ in their own country.
Imagine there is World War II and there is a fundraiser for Jewish people and a German player wants to play," Kostyuk said of her decision following Thursday's match.
Russian invasions, brutal occupations and genocides against the Baltic peoples, the Poles, the Ukrainians and others have taught the countries of East-Central Europe to fiercely resist the latest iteration of Russian imperialism. All of these countries (with majority support of their populations) are practically begging the US to increase their troop presence in the region because it's the only way to guarantee their independence. Your comment implies that it's ok for Russia to "settle problems" through violent brutalization, this attitude has nothing to do with being a Catholic. Despite all of the evil that Russia has perpetrated against my homeland, I've met very few people who've expressed hate towards Russians in general. They are disgusted with the invasion of Ukraine and the cynical mafia that runs that country and they want to be maximally armed to fight against another Russian invasion if necessary. This is a common sentiment among both conservatives and liberals, Christians and atheists, nationalists and Europhiles, it comes from a painfully experienced history, no manipulation is necessary.NATO is using the Baltic states as a tool to agitate against Russia. Like Ukraine, the leaders of these states are completely beholden to them, and the populace is easily manipulated along nationalist lines to hate Russia.
By this time next year, they will change their tune, as Ukraine will be thoroghly defeated and Russia would be fully focused on settling that problem.

Ukraine's Kostyuk refuses Azarenka handshake
Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk refused to shake hands with Belarusian player Victoria Azarenka, saying she is upset that Azarenka has not condemned Russia's war publicly.www.espn.com
So this has to do with sports, women's tennis specifically. A Ukrainian player, Marta Kostyuk, lost her match yesterday to Victoria Azarenka, a Belarusian player. Marta texted Vika before the match letting her know she wouldn't shake her hand after the match, and instead waited at the net and just touched rackets with her. This is because she is upset that Azarenka hasn't come up to her and personally talked about the Ukraine - Russia war situation. In other words, Vika has done nothing wrong and it's all in the mind of the Ukrainian player who Vika says she doesn't know very well at all.
Marta, the Ukrainian, also got Vika removed last week from participating in the USTA's Peace for Ukraine event, a humanitarian event to raise funds for Ukraine, which Vika was happy to participate in. Marta is also upset that Vika is not using her position on the WTA Players' Council to condemn the war. Here's what Marta said about her reasoning for getting Vika cancelled from the event:
Remember, Vika is from Belarus, not Russia. Belarus is not at war with anyone at this time. Belarus has been sanctioned by the U.S. for its "support" and "facilitation" of the invasion.
Players from Russia and Belarus were banned from Wimbledon this year but allowed to play at the U.S. Open currently. Tennis-related websites such as the US Open, WTA and ATP do not display the country flag of players from Belarus or Russia, instead there is an empty space next to their name.
Here is Azarenka's post match interview. Look at the ringer they put her through. She has to be so serious and on guard because of the demonic media. In the past she was very light-hearted and carefree. This mafia cabal wants confessions and proof of right-think from everybody. Don't cave and instead throw the truth in their face at every opportunity.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when an Arab athlete refuses to compete against an Isreali it's considered a walkover and the Israeli gets the victory. Meanwhile when ukrainian athletes do the same, they get a free pass...
Stay tuned for the documentary of the invading forces: Reeeegret in Riga!At this rate, we're going to have a Special Operation in Latvia, and it won't last 6 months.
