This is not a general career/income advice and discussion thread. Its purpose is to establish connections and more in depth 1 on 1 long term advice.

This is a thread to place posts so people can find each other and go off in the Private messages:

1: Offering your help / advice maybe even as a mentor
2: List yourself if you are seeking help in your career/building certain skills to earn an income.

Start your post off with a clear signal whether you are in category 1 or 2.

Nobody is interested in helping/mentoring people who are not serious and not doing the work or not going to do the work.
If you are not going to take action on the advice / help you receive this will not work. Don't bother posting asking for help in that case.

If you want to get help / mentoring make sure you explain why someone might be interested to help you. Give some info to serve as an interesting motivation and hook.

1. Open to helping out people who want to go into webdesign and earn a side or full time income with it.
If you have a good eye and some technical aptitude you can have this going as a side hustle in about 3 months and applying for a studio in not much more time if you know the most effective path. Lots of potential if you stick to it for a few years. Studio job, remote freelance or starting your own online businesses if you add marketing/copywriting to it. Minimum skills that you will need to learn are sales, design, and development. Coding is not a must but you need to be able to understand at least the basics.

For reference: I switched to webdesign not so long ago. skipped studio work and went straight to freelance. Earning a normal monthly income now. I am just halfway to where I want to be, but far enough to instruct someone else on how to get to where I am currently.
