Message: <blockquote data-quote="eradicator" data-source="post: 1548763" data-attributes="member: 4907">It's obviously your decision, but you might want to be a bit more forgiving of your parents, you don't get to choose your parents the same you don't get to choose a lot of things in life.  They tried and as you say, failed.  That isn't something to hold against them for the rest of their lives.My parents are divorced as well, they simply both chose poorly.  They thought they wanted what everyone wants, a family, nice house with kids etc.  But all they ever did was argue(usually about money).  I don't think they ever were really prepared or ready to have kids.  But do I want them to avoid other divorced people and not date?  They are adults and can do what they want.</blockquote>
