I was wondering though if you feel the same. I was playing around with DallE and after an hour the images started to scare me. There is something very off which I find hard to explain.
Agree about the DallE images. The high frequency detail, looks like diseased tissue or something, it's all very subtly distorted. There are a lot of visual tangents.
It will probably go away eventually, the visual weirdness, but it will always be like/have been like that underneath.
So with Chat GPT being released and from what I hear Open AI is releasing a “better version in about a year, what are you all seeing as the first careers / jobs to quickly get eliminated in next 5-10 years? I know Andrew Yang in podcasts from a year or 2 ago discussed the trucking industry jobs with self driving (and associated Interstate Highway commerce that supports the industry), but what are you guys reading or speculating about?
Essay writing services, some online journalism, database data entry jobs, and maybe simple web development. Not much beyond that for the first five years.
They'll never truly automate trucking for a number of reasons. Maybe out in the midwest where you've got perfectly straight roads for many miles, they could have a truck automatically go from a production site to a distributor (agriculture comes to mind), but there's so many things that could go wrong.

I can say for certain that propaganda bots are something planned long ago by the elites, taking advantage of human collective psychology over the Internet, because people wouldn't dare call the bluff from an AI spouting globohomo opinions. Add to that the media psy-ops of projecting unto Trump voters as "Russian bots," (implying that Russia is decades ahead of the US in this tech) thereby removing self-awareness from normies that they're starting to act like video game NPCs.
Notice the irony in deradicalization. Before Trump, college educated leftists are the ones proclaiming themselves to be radicals fighting against the evil capitalist/fascist establishment. But now the term's connotation has been completely inverted as a slur towards red-pilled people, with the implication that they're a danger to society and must be silenced or "re-educated." This is yet the latest example of the word magic employed by the propaganda machine of the Antichrist system.

Copywriting is definitely going to become an obsolete career for freelancers. I played with ChatGPT a bit today and it writes better ads in 15 seconds than most copywriters can pull off in a week.
Theres not much evidence of AI here. Its just regurgitating a wikipedia page basically.
I would never have guessed in 100000000 years that there was a certain small hat club behind a tool that is going to be used primarily for social engineering and as a collections/data mining tool for corporations.... never ever....
