Chris Cantwell, a white-supremacist podcaster who was dubbed “Crying Nazi” following the 2017 rally in Charlottesville, was found guilty of extortion and threats Monday in a New Hampshire court after threatening to rape the wife of rival white supremacist.
The conviction stems from an online feud between Cantwell and another group of white supremacists that devolved to Cantwell sending messages on the Telegram app saying he would rape the wife of Benjamin Lambert, aka “CheddarMane,” unless Lambert identified rival neo-Nazi Andrew Casarez, aka “Vic Mackey.”

Cantwell, 39, now faces up to 22 years in prison, according to The Informant. He is also expected to face a civil trial for his role in the 2017 Charlottesville rally which was marked by clashes between white supremacists and counter protesters and led to the death of 32-year-old Heather Heyer after a group of counter-protesters were run over by a driver. After originally saying her death was justified in a Vice News documentary, Cantwell later posted a YouTube video tearily describing how he was wanted by police in connection with the rally.
More than two dozen have been named in a federal lawsuit filed by the non-profit organization Integrity First for America.

“Today marks an important step toward accountability for Cantwell’s long history of violence and bigotry,” IFA Executive Director Amy Spitalnick said in a media statement, according to Huff Post.
“It’s particularly powerful that this verdict was handed down on Yom Kippur ― the Jewish day of atonement ― against a neo-Nazi defendant who has made antisemitism central to his violence.”

Found guilty for extortion for threatening to dox someone and report them to family services. Also guilty for threats for saying he would rape another man's wife (obviously a sick joke, no something serious.). Chris ran an alt-right radio show and the guy he "threatened" would troll his show and make prank calls causing the threats. This was a political prosecution through and through imo. He is now looking at 22 years in federal prison. The FBI had been watching him for months and most likely years (They had a camera outside his residence). I think Chris is an obnoxious, idiot but he is a political prisoner imo.

The guy is a hothead & lacks tact but I agree with you. There was no way he was ever gonna rape the other dude's wife. He'll need a damn good lawyer. Maybe a Jewish lawyer that is sympathetic to the man (and buddies with the judge) if he wants to have a chance in hell of getting a light plea deal in this legal system.

The system may be corrupt, but Chris Cantwell is still a cautionary tale nonetheless. Proof that fellas need to control their emotion & impulses, otherwise the system may nab you & try to make an example out of you. Look at this clip of Chris Cantwell circa 2009. You wouldn't even think this is the same guy:

Chris'd definitely be some jogger or spic's bitch in prison. He has experience sticking stuff (namely, heroin) up his arse. He's also what the Manosphere used to call a "paper alpha" - a guy who looks alpha, but is really a beta or gamma.

I remember there being a thread here on him writing an article badmouthing his ex, a Canadian lady who won the lottery 10 years ago.

Here's the old thread about Cantwell and his ex: https://www.rooshvforum.com/threads/youtube-podcaster-issues-warning-about-his-crazy-ex.30884/

A choice quote from Leonard about him:
Long story short.

Some wanker hooked up with a crazy bitch because she had tons of money and poured honey in his ears.

She exhibited crazy bitch behaviour. He white-knighted.
She exhibited crazier bitch behaviour. He white-knighted.
She exhibited crazierer bitch behaviour. He white-knighted.
She exhibited craziererer bitch behaviour. He white-knighted.

Eventually she held his unborn child hostage and ended up aborting it, "crushing him".

She'd racked up debt in his name promising shared wealth when they were married and he maintained contact even after the abortion hoping to be repaid, only to be strung along with more crazy bitch behaviour.

...future leaders of the West, unite!

He has prior convictions.

In 2000, Cantwell pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and driving while intoxicated in Suffolk County. He served four months of a six-month jail sentence. During a failed attempt to run to represent New York’s 1st Congressional District in 2009 as a Libertarian candidate, he was arrested a second time for DWI. He faced up to two years in prison. He eventually took a deal and served 28 days of a 45-day plea bargain.

In October 2017, Cantwell was named in the federal civil suit brought against the individuals and organizations that planned the “Unite the Right” event.

Multiple bond violations followed, including in April 2018, when Cantwell was charged with public intoxication.

In July 2018, Cantwell pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor assault stemming from his actions at the “Unite the Right” rally, and returned home to New Hampshire. As part of the plea deal, he was barred from entering the state of Virginia for a five-year period. He was also barred from mentioning either Gorcenski or Goad in public. Just days later, Cantwell did just that, bragging about “gassing kikes and trannies,” a thinly veiled reference directed at Gorcenski and Goad. Prosecutors in Albemarle County requested his bond be revoked. Cantwell was ordered to pay a fine.

And on and on and on.

I don't have any sympathy for this guy. He has no self control. Wignats are total goons who really aren't any better than Antifa. Yeah its disgusting that the law goes after the right far more than it goes after the left, but this is definitely one guy who belongs in prison.

Federal prison isn't as tough as the state pen, from what I understand. Still, this guy needs to get a grip and find a new hobby. Hopefully, he'll take advantage of the trade schooling and other benefits on offer at the institution.
