Are you mistaking Kung Fu for Karate? Chuck was the karate guy opposing Bruce's Kung Fu guy. And as pointed out above, also picked up Jiujitsu before he left Hollywood.

When I was young, like 5 years old, I would come home from school and re-runs of Walker Texas Ranger would be on. It was odd for me to really like this show because at that age I was watching Nickelodeon and cartoons. I was mesmorized by Chuck's smooth calm talking and sick martial arts skills. Even in his old age, he's someone that I have immense respect for. I hope one day I get to shake his hand.
