Inflation, food shortages, and unemployment will bring a revolution this fall/winter in the US, per Señor Gonzalo.

I've been posting and talking about how, in light of the recent TX shooting, the US has a bunch of young men that can't get laid and have no purpose in life. Mix that with what many of us think is coming later this year and it's not looking good. Many don't realize how fickle international supply chains are and there are a bunch of interesting coincidences happening as of late with the food supply. Coincidences that don't pass the smell test at all. Best get out of the major cities y'all.

I just saw that Scott Ritter's wife posted on Gonzalo's YouTube comments a response regarding his allegations against her husband.

Marina Ritter

"As Scott Ritter’s wife, I listened to this clip with interest. Several points: 1. a modicum of gratitude from you to people like Scott and others who raised an alarm about your disappearance is in order. The whole purpose of Scott’s article was to raise awareness of your disappearance. 2. Scott did not say that you were kidnapped, tortured and murdered. He said “when reports emerged that you were kidnapped, tortured and murdered….”. You conveniently omitted Scott’s reference to these reports. Scott further clarified in the same article “I have no direct evidence that Gonzalo has been killed, I was clear I was referring to reports emerging about his demise. But Gonzo said any disappearance of more than 12 hours should be treated as if something bad had happened to him. It’s been five days”. 3. As someone who once feared for his life at the prospect of being detained by the SBU during war time, you seem awfully jovial and nonchalant about your experience. As a former Soviet citizen, I know that security services do not arrest and release people suspected of treason during war time without some strings attached. After listening to your rant, I have a pretty good idea what those strings are. 4. With all due respect, Scott’s words stand on their own and they don’t need to be dressed up by the likes of you. In the article you quoted, Scott never once mentioned a Russian Vietnam or new Afghanistan. Those are your words, not his. 5. You assessment about Scott courting the mainstream media is fiction. I hope the SBU gives you a pat on your back for your efforts for attacking Scott. Your followers may not comprehend the true objectives behind your rant, but I do."

After that ridiculous video Gonzalo Lira did on Scott Ritter, I unfortunately lost a lot of respect for Lira. It was utterly petty for him to say some of the things he did. Frankly his new material is just way too smug in general anyway.

Now he is going after Jacob Driezen.

This isn't going to sit well with The Duran.

Yeah, this is just getting silly. Also I would add that Jacob Dreizen, for whatever reason, also gets EXTREMELY petty about Scott Ritter, and that also made me lose a lot of respect for Dreizen, although he still gives relevant analysis.

Dreizen does whine a bit too much and lacks some professionalism in his videos. I think he is struggling with the recent attention and letting it get to his head.

None the less this is just bizarre from Lira, just as Dreizen's obsession with putting down Scott Ritter is also bizarre.

The only thing I can think is that YouTube fame comes with an extremely high risk of narcissism, and not everyone has the character to stay humble. For what it's worth I think the team at The Duran are fantastic about not getting involved in petty spats. Scott Ritter also seems to keep his head high.

Part of the reason it's so hard to get any kind of alt message out is because of all the ridiculous infighting that occurs at the top. Alt media celebrities tend to have a pathetic beggar scarcity mentality about their following and fame.

Narcissism continues to be Gonzalo's Achilles heel. He would be better off to exhibit a sliver of class, after all he claims to come from a prestigious family.
He claimed that? He seems to be one of the Joe Blow average Chilean latin to me going off how he carries himself and acts. If he was upper class he'd not act like he is doing.

Keep in mind that Dreizen is of Israeli Russian background, and that might have set off Gonzalo Lira's radar, especially given Dreizen's military background.

It also means that while Dreizen's coverage of the Ukraine situation has been excellent so far, he is bound to have some blind spots, for example in him not understanding (or not wanting to understand) the tribal nature of this conflict and the tribal influence (or control) on US foreign policy, which Lira has explained very well in this instalment on Nuland et al:

I still like Dreizen's work, but as always when looking at pundits' content, you need to know what perspective and backgrounds they are representing. You're not going to get content like the video above from Dreizen (or from Ritter, or the Duran for that matter), and that perspective is essential to understanding why the Ukraine war is even happening today.

Lira's going off on Ritter, while also a bit over the top, might have some basis as well. His suspicion of Ritter veering towards a more acceptable mainstream position as an attempt to stay more relevant and marketable is not an unreasonable position either.

Of course he could have been a bit more subdued and professional in expressing those reservations about these two alt media figures, this is where he falls short, but IMHO his diatribes were not without foundation.

Good points. Lira can be a bit much but when he's good he tends to be really good. The video you linked to was a pure masterpiece from Lira when he was in a very humbled mental state to produce such work. Overall though he's definitely value added, it's just frustrating to see some of his weaknesses brought forward.

Dreizin is great but he WILL NOT TOUCH the J angle on any issue, even when it's central.

In the end, one is best served to have an open mind on any commentator and as 911 stated keep their background and motivations in mind.

Supposedly his grandfather was president of Chile, I recall him mention sometime last year.

Lira is definitely not Joe blow. His mannerisms, thinking style, and language are consistent with the various “elite” types I’ve met, worked with, and gone to school with in my life so far.
Agreed. He's got an underlying cockiness that subtly insinuates he's better/knows more than you, but he seems to have tempered it over the years - at times it comes out though.

Some of his older CRP stuff is a goldmine for how the 'upper class' operates. IME it's consistent with this type of class. His video on working a room is a classic too, and really only comes about through direct experience/knowledge rather than reading about the theory.

Kind of glad to see him move on from dating videos and onto something a bit more mature to be honest.
It's certainly more relevant for the times, but consider the lack of father figures, strong male role models in TV/books/etc., and outright demonization of anything resembling testosterone and there's certainly a need for his earlier messaging. Hence the following he amassed. I don't see it as being mature or immature - he filled a void with valuable and actionable content for a generation of purposeless men.
