Because they're playing at two fronts now. 1. reeling the unvaccinated in, 2. ensuring that the vaccinated stay in the system and in order to do so the vaccinated must stay afraid. So they must hype up that it's transmissible, so that the vaccinated panic again, and whether it's seen as mild or not doesn't really matter. I've seen different perspectives on that though, wouldn't say they position it as mild necessarily. At least it's ''mild'' enough to shut down international flights again, impose new measures and stack us again with ''worried experts''. The WHO is ''worried'' so that's more of the narrative. Worried is great, as it leaves you in doubt whether it's very dangerous or not so. Doubt is the killer of the human psyche. Moreover, they change narrative all the time. 2 weeks ago there was reason for massive panic and new measures here, now today I read that the peak of covid patients has been overcome. In other words: they give you continuously different information to get your emotions from high to low, positive to negative, in order to make you insane really and make you maintain a vague hope of a better future that isn't going to come.
You did an excellent job of describing this tactic, and I'll provide an example of how they employ it
.
Recently, I was at a social event during which I was made to watch one of the Sunday morning news roundup shows. Instead of cursing my misfortune at being forced to be exposed to this particularly noxious form of propaganda, I decided I would use it as an opportunity to gain insight into the psychology of the masses who willfully subject themselves to these forms of communication and worship them as Truth.
At one point, there was a story about the "dwindling days of the pandemic." Not 10 minutes later a different story read by the same presenter talked about how the WHO was "sounding the alarm" and that this was a "critical time" which would determine whether or not we could defeat the killer virus once and for all.
I tried to imagine what it must be like for people who actually take this nonsense seriously. First "oh, thank Fauci, the brutal pandemic is in its dwindling days! We're almost there, just a little longer and I can feel safe again!" Followed by "oh no! Sounding the alarm! That sounds scary! Are we going to defeat the killer virus or not? When will it all end?" The order in which these stories was presented was not a coincidence.
A person experiencing this will be pulled in multiple directions until they're confused into a state of helplessness. They will throw their hands up in the air and say "aaah, I don't know what to think! Someone help me and save us! I'll do whatever you say as long as this will finally end!" They will gladly accept the word of any one who presents themselves as an authority (for example the "world's leading expert in virology") and accept any solution that this authority offers. They will lack the ability to think clearly or critically about the situation and will blindly put their faith in whoever is presented as the savior and indeed will worship them as such.
As people who are free from the mass conditioning, it's sad for us to observe, and avoiding it seems like such a simple matter. But we can't forget the intellectual depths to which our fellow men have sunk and we can't discount how distorted and manipulated their worldview has become.
We can also never forget that these people manipulated to this degree are capable of doing and justifying anything up to and including committing genocide. We should also not forget that this conditioning is deliberate and evil. We can only pray that enough justice exists in our world such that the responsible parties are appropriately punished.
