Jeez. The Philippines sure did take a nosedive for the worst rather quickly, didn't it? Wasn't that long ago that it seemed like a nice, tropical place to be and now it's like North Korea 2.

What the heck is going on in te Phillipines? I thought a somewhat based country, at least super Christian (on paper). Really weird.

It's not so bad for them. The Philippines is a country with a great number of markets and mom and pop stores where you can get everything you need. If it's anything like Vietnam, there's at least one residence that sells the necessities on every block. I would be more concerned about hospitals, schools and public transportation being off limits to the unvaccinated, which may soon become a reality.

I have noticed that this trend in Philippines is not different from any other island nation. Everywhere from Fiji to New Zealand to Malta. There are many reasons why this would be the case but it is obvious the island nations have been given special dictates from the core leadership.

Right, weren't the rumors middle of August for a lockdown? Not sure Biden can impose it nationally, but blue states were supposedly on board.
