Probably with proxies like grip strength, reaction time, ability to solve problems or think about the world. Actually it would be a more accurate way potentially because what you might be more interested in is g(general intelligence). IQ measures g *and* specialisation/ability to do tests.

I stood there watching him, almost waiting for symptoms to immediately show, like on one of those horrible videos that are going around the Internet. The parent congratulated their child for getting through the ordeal as they left the store.

All I could do was shake my head and go about my day.

He's likely referring to "sterilizing vs non sterilizing" when it comes to pathogen eradication. In other words he's saying the jabcine will not render a recipient individual a "sterile" environment to the virus. Thats whats meant by "leaky"

In the context of vaccines sterilize can mean that the vaccinated person can not reproduce the virus inside their body. A non sterilizing vaccine means the person can still transmit and propagate the virus.

If the child will be staying home with his/her mother don’t bother with it.

If you plan to have the child in day care before 2 years of age then idk maybe? The more the child will be around other kids the greater the risk (because every other child probably has had a TDAP)

Congrats. Take him outside, let him play around in the dirt, and find him playmates. Parents these days shelter their kids too much thinking its good for their development if they stay indoors under their watchful eye. Helicopter parenting has been a disaster for the human race. Good luck.

I think this is actually a viable angle of attack for people who are feeling up to it. What are they going to charge you with? Even if you distributed a small flier and then went about your business could the drugstore ban you or something? They might have a security guard, I guess.

I definitely believe the story about lowered IQs.
