COVID Anxiety

Hi guys,

Would like to know your opinions regarding this,

"A survey conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics into the household impact of Covid-19 also reveals that the recent Victorian outbreak led to a surge in psychological distress with almost a third of people in the state reporting feelings associated with depression and anxiety compared with 18% in the rest of Australia"

How you guys feeling now? I'm literally stressed and with great fear of this pandemic. At nights, I'm having panic attacks and I refuse most of the time to go out and interact with others. How do you face this kind of anxiety?

I am in New Zealand and we too are being held hostage by our globalist satanic government just as you are. Honestly friend, I have not once been afraid of the virus, I regard this as a hoax in the sense that it is not the serious illness they are telling us. The science (real science, not the nonsense from the propaganda) shows that this virus has the same statistical profile as a normal flu.

I have however had massive anxiety and fear about the government agenda behind this. However, I am praying the fatima rosary and the full liturgy of the hours for myself and my family. God is our only hope now and it is pointless to trust in any human agency now.

So although, I don't have good news for you in terms of our previous life - which is never coming back no matter what happens - we must trust in God and submit ourselves to his holy will.

Can you describe your spiritual life?

Hey all! Thanks for all your responses. The kind ones and the rude. I appreciate them all. I think I've been reading a lot of stuff which most are I dunno, maybe fake or exaggerated. I know I may be overreacting but I can't help it. I don't think we're going back to our normal lives anytime soon.

It sounds like you are afraid of dying or losing the comfort of your past life. Roosh’s question above gets to the heart of the matter. What’s your spiritual life like? If you’re trying to find truth in “news” aka lies, you will always be anxious. Like most people I have been made anxious by the lockdowns and the propaganda, but it’s not my place to complain, it’s my job to grow in the faith that it’s part of God’s plan for my salvation. If anything, tough times give you more opportunities to repent and become a new, better man. Stop reading or watching anything about Covid, that alone will soothe your nerves, you aren’t missing anything. The mass media is running on fumes trying to scare people but most aren’t buying it anymore, don’t despair, the Big Man is at the wheel.

You still haven't explained what is the main reason for your anxiety. Is it the general state of the world at the moment? Or is it the fear of the virus and disease? Fear of being ill or maybe dying?

Do you pray often or even at all?

Having checked your other posts in the 'coronavirus' threads you seem to have been pro-masks and believed they work and help others. Is it still your stance?

I've posted about this before but I really need to take a break (again) for my mental health here.

I will not give in or cede to the narrative etc...

However reading about it non stop and driving myself mentally and physically ill doing so is another way of losing my life without taking any vax.

Surely the psychological side effects of this obsession are worse than the vax.

And no that is NOT some call to get the vax. But more a call to live your life while you still can. Read the Bible. Pursue hobbies and skills. Use God's gifts.

Sitting in a room getting steadily more paranoid makes you more susceptible to Satan to work on your mind.

This forum is great for chatting with like minded people, but it's easy to get ill-disciplined and let this 'fear porn' (anti covid version) take over everything in life.

My problem is I have is this nihilism. I have two options - either living in basically exile and isolation OR take the vax and know that I have no moral principles (coward's die a thousand deaths etc...)

And it's hard to enjoy anything when you know the society you are in is totally corrupt and insane. The insanity gets to you. It infects. It's not the same insanity as covidiots. But the knowledge of how sick society is creates overwhelming despair.

^ This.

I do woodworking (trying to turn it into a job). It requires the use of both hands and brains so it does take your mind off things perfectly. Every morning I ride my bicycle up a very steep hill and when I get on top, there's a nice spa complex so I take a dip in the pool with an amazing view over the mountains. The only minus is the water chlorinated but I take kelp to counterbalance it.

This routine keeps me sane (I hope) as I have been following this hoax from the very beginning ... in details.
It's almost like a hobby now ... or an obsession! LOL

I plan on no travel until ALL restrictions are lifted. It's my own personal protest.

I recently got a starter woodworking kit as a present and I was going to start messing with it this weekend. Do you have any resources to recommend to beginners? Feel free to PM if you prefer, but I'm sure others would be interested to know

This, on the other hand, is a reasonable fear, it is a virtual certainty, though nothing to do with any virus. Dealing with this is a much harder question. Frankly, if you're living in a major city (which I'm guessing you are) you need to find a way to get out (you can't leave your country as I understand it, and they don't want to let you leave your state even) and establish yourself in a small, tight-knit community where sanity can be maintained.

Big ask. Big job. Constant effort. But, it needs to be the focus of all your effort right now, in my opinion, besides whatever else you need to get by day-to-day and/or to support this project (e.g. feeding yourself, staying physically fit, earning the money it takes to make an escape [without becoming addicted to the money], etc.).

There are tons of youtube video on woodworking, there's hardly any subject uncovered but don't make the mistake I did and buy lots of tool before hand. Just use this kit and make something with it by finding an appropriate video. Then do it again and again. In the end you will know what other tools you need and proceed from there. Before you know it, you'll be remaking your kitchen cabinets with the right tools! ;)
