Well he's a Montanan now especially since he's been elected the Governor. Doesn't seem like he really grew up in CA, though, it's mentioned he went to school in PA, where he lived since the age of 3.
He got sponsored by billionaires from Texas. You can call him a Montanan all you want though

Where do people see this going?

'VeriFLY can be downloaded to a mobile device is designed to offer peace of mind before travel by checking customers meet the entry requirements of their destination by providing digital health document verification and confirming eligibility.'

So the current play seems that destination countries will make it easier to travel for the vaxxed (i.e. no quarantine, no quarantine on return) and a ball-ache to make leisure travel unrealistic for the unvaxxed (for most, 20 days vacation time to sit in quarantine makes travel pointless).

But for how long?

I'd guess they'd need another 'crisis' to give an excuse for demanding vax only for entry, or vax to board? And if people are moronic enough to take the vax to save the hassle of pcr/quarantine, maybe there'd be no need anyway?
I’m an airline employee. Just within the past 3 weeks, Mexico has started requiring a personal health questionnaire be filled out prior to gaining access to security. They even have QR code‘s on seat backs inside cab and car services that transport people to the airport.

Once you fill out this questionnaire on your phone, it brings you to your own AR code to be scanned by an airline employee at the gate and a green bar, signifying to a monitor that you’ve completed the task. Without that green bar, you don’t get entry to the secure area.

Once near security, you’re also subject to a temporal temperature scan and a thermal body scan.

What better way to brainwash the masses than by forcing people to complete these tasks prior to flying back to the U.S.? Comply, droog.

So what happens if someone does not have a smartphone or if the application does not work on theirs correctly/couldn't fill out, are they offering paper alternatives?

^ Being on a slow connection, I can't even open their bloated, loaded with spyware FAQ website, which seems to require a login to just read the FAQs.
I did a search on the subject and it seems to be that one can fill out a paper alternative.

Correct. It is causing us some business issues because we have a team doing some important in person meetings in the US and the partner based out of Ontario can’t get down to the US to attend.

this was in place in December 2020

Arenas full of libtards. It’s hilarious that people said these governors were jumping the gun to ban vax passports. Now look.

I’ve been done with sports since last year. I used to be so caught up in MLB. Thing is I don’t miss it now at all. All this stuff is just a distraction from God. The next pointless stat. The next pointless win. The next pointless World Champion.

Digital vaccine passport bands have arrived

Ignoring civil liberties concerns, employers are moving ahead.

A Wharton school grad and his father, a doctor, developed the “Immunaband” – a wearable smart device, which is much akin to a smartwatch in appearance and is being used to show the status of vaccination with a tag.

Users have to upload their vaccination card and the Immunaband makes it easy for others to know about their status of vaccination. With little consideration for the implications in terms of civil liberties, the technology is already being adopted by various businesses.

A restaurant called El Merkury Sophia Deleon in the Reading Terminal market of Philadelphia has all its employees wearing the Immunaband, a simple blue bracelet that displays a QR code. By scanning the code, you can validate the status of vaccination of the individual wearing it.

The restaurant owner of El Merkury said that they had partnered with Immunaband for uploading their vaccine cards and explicitly letting their customers know that the restaurant staff is vaccinated.

Dr. Tashof Bernton, one of the two individuals behind Immunaband, said: “As we come back together as a society, it’s nice to have to have a way to tell each other I’m safe and I’ve been vaccinated. You get the Imunnaband, you upload your card, and it’s with you all the time if you want it. You just use the QR code.”

At a juncture where governments around the world are considering introducing vaccine passports and have taken several steps to make that resolution a reality, innovations such as Immunaband no longer come as a surprise.

New York, for instance, partnered with IBM and launched “Excelsior Pass” for providing access to theaters, event venues, and sport stadiums. The app was found to exposing private medical data.
