In the US, County Sheriffs is who lean rural law enforcement, pretty much anywhere other than in bigger towns.
Very small towns mostly do not have own police force and rely on County Sheriff.
County sheriff is elected position, directly by the people.
This adds to the system of checks and balances, as enforcement is direct-elected - and if they compromise county leadership and even the judge - it's still up to the sheriff to enforce.
No enforcement - and laws and rules are useless.

When there was a talk about taking guns in Virginia, in resistance some county sheriffs said they would use their power to deputize ordinary citizens. The sheriff can potentially make every county resident a sheriff's deputy capable of law enforcement, which would allow all citizens to legally resist State's agents trying to take their guns or doing other unconstitutional stuff.
I just wish they were bolder in resisting coronahoax and deputized people...unfortunately, so many are brainwashed, including the Republicans, that such thing would probably just lead to civil war.

Not in all states. California made it illegal to deputize.

I love how Mexico is the only major country that’s truly open, with no restrictions. Which is good because I’ll be needing to go there soon. Like probably tomorrow soon.

The cops have been enforcing everything so far. It would be just like the masks: "We aren't removing you for noncompliance, we are removing you because the owner/manager said you are trespassing". The local bars will do it to avoid fines and keep their liquor licenses, and it won't matter anyway when the next step is taken and the unvaxxed are unable to pay because they can't access the money in their bank accounts...

I would be careful using that site, they seem to have a lot of misinformation. For example , one can travel to Mongolia with just a Test and no quarantine straight from Mongolia goverment and US Embassy, yet that site says you cannot even enter from the USA

This appears to be our own government attempting to drastically reduce our access to goods and supplies if this applies to truckers.

Our own government begins a new chapter in its ongoing war against 330 million people, effectively creating an administrative blockade against its own people with the goal of starvation and deprivation. The level of treason involved in this decision can't be understated.

I wonder what is required if I plan to enter America by sea on my own vessel. Does anyone know or can point out where I can get this info? Maybe it would be up to the border guards discretion.
I took this from a Canadian news article. Doesn’t cover the irregular situation of entering by sea on a private vessel.

“Although testing is not required at land ports of entry and ferry terminals, the U.S. does require that foreign air travellers be fully vaccinated and either provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test or a document showing they recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.

Non-U.S. individuals travelling to the country at a land port of entry or ferry terminal must verbally attest to their COVID-19 vaccination status, provide proof of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-approved COVID-19 vaccination, and a document such as a valid passport, Trusted Traveler Program card or Enhanced Tribal Card.”

just a few years ago the Obama administration got rid of the restrictions on people with HIV entering the country even though there are multiple cases of men from other countries knowingly having sex with multiple partners and spreading it.
A simple covid test would be far more reliable an indicator of whether or not to let someone into the country

and of course we know you can just walk across the southern border as an illegal immigrant and be covid positive...

We all know our elite hate us and don't give a damn about our health or well being - and the fact that they want us to accept such glaring hypocrisy and illogical standards means they either think we're stupid or powerless.

The biggest irony of this is that in order to go eat unhealthy artificial food, full of chemicals that for a fact will eventually destroy your body, you need to show proof you are 'protected' against some virus. So to eat unhealthy, you need to be vaccinated...smack!
On the other hand if you look at it from the angle of wanting to destroy the health of humanity, it makes perfect sense that to do the some of the most unhealthy activities like junk eating, drinking and clubbing you're required this injection.

One way to cause problems is to go there and order food from a kiosk and pretend you don't know the rules when asked to show your vaccine pass. Make the order with specials like extra mustard or onions so that it will have to be thrown away when they refuse to let you pay for it. Refuse to get the order to go when they try to compromise. It is not much of a resistance but imagine if 200 people a day did this.

Of course, if you live in DC, you likely support the mandates.
