Up to 300,000 people facing heart-related illnesses due to post-pandemic stress disorder, warn physicians

Up to 300,000 people in the UK are facing heart-related illnesses due to post-pandemic stress disorder (PPSD), two London physicians have warned.

This could result in a 4.5 per cent rise in cardiovascular cases nationally because of the effects of PPSD, with those aged between 30 to 45 most at-risk, they claim.

Mark Rayner, a former senior NHS psychological therapist and founder of EASE Wellbeing CIC, said that as many as three million people in Britain are already suffering from PPSD, thanks to stress and anxiety caused by the effects of Covid-19.

He fears this could result in a dramatic rise in physical health issues, such as coronary heart failure, if cases are not detected or treated early.

Mr Rayner said: “PPSD is a very real problem on a massive scale. As well as the condition itself with all its immediate problems, one of the biggest collateral issues is the affect it can have on heart health.

“It is widely recognised that reducing stress and mental health problems is crucial to the prevention and recovery of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes.

“We are talking about as many as 300,000 new patients with heart issues.”

Mr Rayner warned that without at least doubling the current funding, the NHS will not be able to tackle the “trauma timebomb”, which could have potentially fatal consequences for those suffering with long-term PPSD.

Meanwhile, Tahir Hussain, a senior vascular surgeon at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, said he has seen a significant rise in cases where he works.

He said: “I’ve seen a big increase in thrombotic-related vascular conditions in my practice. Far younger patients are being admitted and requiring surgical and medical intervention than prior to the pandemic.

“I believe many of these cases are a direct result of the increased stress and anxiety levels caused from the effects of PPSD.

“We also have evidence that some patients have died at home from conditions such as pulmonary embolism and myocardial infarction. I believe this is related to many people self-isolating at home with no contact with the outside world and dying without getting the help they needed.”

PPSD is a mental health condition induced by the pandemic. While it is not yet officially recognised, many experts believe it should be.

Mr Rayner added: “Everyone has heard of PTSD but we really urgently need to get our heads around PPSD.

“The pandemic and the resulting lockdowns it’s brought have had a massive effect on the mental health of the whole nation.”

Research suggests that patients with symptoms of depression are at 64 per cent greater risk of developing coronary artery disease and 59 per cent more likely to have a future adverse cardiovascular event, such as a heart attack or cardiac death.

Heart and circulatory diseases account for a quarter of all deaths in the UK - equating to more than 160,000 deaths each year.

Figures show there are around 7.6 million people living with a heart or circulatory disease in the UK.

Commenters are calling out the fake article. Most of them are pointing out it is vaccine-related.

The best way to know whether something is true is whether it is allowed in the media. Truth isn't allowed in the media.

If it's in the media it's a lie.

Here's a fine piece of propaganda coming straight from the heart of Passportistan.

At first, the article seems to be arguing that restrictive lockdowns are damaging to people and cause a lot of problems.

The latest evidence suggests that after decades of safety gains, the pandemic has made U.S. drivers more reckless — more likely to speed, drink or use drugs and leave their seat belts unbuckled.

“I fear we’ve adopted some really unsafe driving habits, and they’re going to persist,” Kolosh said. “Our roads are less safe than they were pre-pandemic.”

Experts say that this behavior on the road is likely a reflection of widespread feelings of isolation, loneliness and depression.

They even think to mention some of the other negative consequences of oppressive measures like overdoses and homicides
The rise in motor vehicle deaths lines up with other pandemic-era trends: Alcohol sales have soared, drug overdoses have set new records, and homicides have seen their biggest increase on record.

COVID-19 marks “a sea change in psychology,” said Frank Farley, a professor of psychology at Temple University in Philadelphia, who views reckless driving as a form of rebellion — or what he calls “arousal breakout.”

“You’ve been cooped up, locked down, and have restrictions you chafe at,” he said. “So if you can have an arousal breakout, you want to take it.”

But don't be fooled. The real purpose of this phony journalism is buried deeper within

“Anecdotally, we hear from governors’ offices around the country that it’s a symptom and a sign of the overall lack of consideration we’re showing for other citizens, whether it be wearing masks, or not getting vaccinated, or how we drive,” he said. “It’s very aggressive. It’s very selfish.”

Read this carefully and consider what it's saying. Not wearing a slave mask or receiving a poison injection means you have no disregard for others and are more likely to go around ramming people to death with your vehicle. Anecdotally. Of course it's anecdotal because there isn't the slightest shred of evidence that there's any truth to this whatsoever!

And this is considered journalism, fit for millions of people to read. How many of those millions will go around believing this outlandish nonsense because it was written by someone with a "graduate degree in public health?" Why is this "anecdote" published in what's supposed to be a respectable outlet?

What a joke.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that taxpayer funds would be set aside for journalists who produce stories pre-approved by the government.

Ardern explained the initiative during a so-called “Democracy (correction: dictatorship) Summit” last week to representatives of the U.S., Australia, Denmark, and Norway.

“We’ve also seen the spread of misinformation (correction: truth) on COVID-19, particularly through social media,” Ardern said. “We made it a priority to establish a public interest journalism fund to help our media continue to produce stories that keep New Zealanders informed (correction: enslaved).”

Paper form the Cato Instiute confirms what we already knew - cloth masks are useless.

From the abstract:
The use of cloth facemasks in community settings has become an accepted public policy response to decrease disease transmission during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet evidence of facemask efficacy is based primarily on observational studies that are subject to confounding and
on mechanistic studies that rely on surrogate endpoints (such as droplet dispersion) as proxies for disease transmission. The available clinical evidence of facemask efficacy is of low quality and the best available clinical evidence has mostly failed to show efficacy, with fourteen of sixteen
identified randomized controlled trials comparing face masks to no mask controls failing to find statistically significant benefit in the intent-to-treat populations.

One of the authors is a professor from Harvard Medical School, there's some good stuff on his Twatter page along with some bad. He is strongly against subjugation masks and medical censorship but seems to support poison injections. Make of it what you will. https://twitter.com/jonathandarrow
