I wonder why these guys are so poorly dressed and have such bad game. And then I remember they're getting a newspaper to set them up with a date.
This is one of the few, if any, Date Labs where I strongly side with the girl. I'm not sure that this guy did anything right. That "She's way out of my league" stuff is inexcusible, fatal, and should immediately be removed from every guy's vocabulary.

One way to do your bit to curb this bullshit -- always refer to them as 'waitress' and 'stewardess', never their bullshit 'hostess' and 'air hostess' titles. When I go to my girl's massive country house, her mother and head of the household is my 'hostess'. Not some random girl in a second-rate restaurant who is deep throating the third-rate sous chef after hours.
The guy seems like a normal thirty-year old chap, he has just been beaten down so much by the feminized media that he accepts getting snapped at by his waitress and rejected out of hand by his date.
I understand that this guy is corny, but lets look at reality. He;s A 30 year old -I presume college educated - maybe more -black man in decent physical shape- gainfully employed - and obviously not a "player".
she;s a 28 year old - soon to be over the hill doctor. - black woman at that.
If she had any sense at all and any perspective, she would take this guy and whip him into shape and then settle down and have a nice family with a slightly corny, but totally devoted husband and father.
what is going to happen is that she;s gonna continue to wait for the "Denzel" she thinks she deserves and hit 35 in a hurry.
he will continue to earn- becoming more valuable with time, and if he is lucky will see the light regarding American women - most men do at some point in their 30s if they emerge unscathed..... at which point he will get his act together, be put off women like her and American women in general.
at which point he will attacked by this same woman for "not liking black women" or "not liking American women"
i personally know quite a few black guys like this guy

You make a point so strong that it makes me change my mind. I bet you anything her and women like her will be these women you hear Oprah interviewing in a few years talking about the shortage of marriageable black men. Within 5 years ago this guy will probably be married to a white or Asian woman. The woman in this Data Lab episode was decent looking but she was no Beyonce either and she's right in that demographic of women with the least likely chance of finding a guy that matches her professional status.
