Nah, I'm gonna live my life, stay intertwined with my Church family, and keep myself aware of the closest alligator to the boat: home ownership/private equity/and wealth accrual within the constructs of daily practice of my church life.
I'm not saying that it's true. The poster asked a question and I gave him information about the theory, that's all.

I think it's mostly evil wishful thinking, but they do have depopulation in mind no doubt. Thomas Malthus put that idea forward in the 19th century and his mindset still prevails in the powerful, only that now they estimate they have the technology to achieve it.

It had updated its 2025 predictions a while back to denote that the USA would lose about 70% of its population by 2025, then promptly removed the information, which made people talk about it all the more. Most suggested that their reason was a famine of some kind.
