Devon Stack (BlackPilled) Thread

Haven't seen one, so gotta spread his videos here. He produces videos on, as his name suggests, the downfall of Western civilization in general and the USA in particular. What I like about him is that he is not your typical NatSoc or right-winger by denying creation and God or ridiculing Christianity with dumb phrases like "muh kike on a stick" but actually admires and highlights the goodness and morality and structure that Christendom brings.

Devon Stack (BlackPilled) worked in the TV-industry, so his insider knowledge and ability to read between the lines in cinematic productions, mainly with a political, satirical, symbolical and conspiratorial point of view, is unparalleled. Below I post his best videos, which is hard to sort out because all of his videos are superb.

Feel free to discuss.

Agreed. Big fan of Blackpilled/Devon Stack. His movie reviews are one of the best on the internet, they're very nicely done visually and Devon's got a great voice which fits well into the style of production he utilises. His general observations and, let's say, life philosophy are also top quality. Not 100% Christian but close enough.
He is generally black pilling, however, not in an overly pessimistic, defeatist way but rather the slap-in-the-face-wake-up manner. For example, he was very critical of QAnon from the very beginning.

My top 3 Black Pilled movie reviews:

1. Pleasantville (1998): How the Boomers turned their backs on tradition and towards the false promises of Satan (i.e. 'freedom').

2. The Pawnbroker (1964): How the Jews skillfully played their post-WWII victim status (The Holocaust) to subvert our culture.

3. The Stepford Wives (1975): How feminism undermined the family:

Devon is one of the few folks whose streams/videos I listen to these days when I have time. What I like about him is that he isn't trying to sugarcoat things and tells it like it this.

A good example of this is his video "Nobody will remember Carl". TL;DR: a man (I think it is a person who used to own Devon's "bunker", but I am a bit hazy on details right now) dies and Devon retells his story of budding success, shocking failure and descent into a porn-fueled semi-weeaboo lifestyle of degeneracy and excessive pleasure and lack of meaningful life, kids or heritage after death. It is quite sobering and fairly heart-breaking. Devon told this story really well and the visuals were fitting too.

I really liked this video and hope that you enjoy it too, if you decide to watch it. It is about 30 minutes long, but I think it is well worth it.

@J.E. - I'm familiar with his work, but I hadn't watched The Simpsons one. It's excellent, one of his best, in fact.

He produced a very interesting one about Christmas carols, btw.

I watched it a while ago and liked it a lot. It reminded me of people I met in my life who are heading this way and also reminded me of the darkest moments in my life. Lack of self-control and direction is what makes a Carl.

I don't think Carl wanted to be remembered.

I loved his old videos, like those that are being posted, which I have posted again and again myself.

But he's lost his groove a bit, got a little heavy handed in those kinds of videos (the Simpsons one, for instance - fair point, but listening to him in that one is just unbearable) and unfortunately he's fallen down the rabbit hole of being a live streamer. The last thing the world needs is another "dude talkin' 'bout the news" live stream for hours and hours a day. He also seems to have gotten really, truly blackpilled despite insisting that that's not what he means with the term. He's living out in the middle of nowhere, which is not a terrible idea, but I get the impression he's all alone and just kinda retreating into this world of livestreams and obsessing over comments on whatever video/social network hasn't banned him yet. If my impression is correct he is, unfortunately, heading in the direction of Carl, like a lot of men, I think. Except instead of the dopamine hits of porn and toys it's political ragebait and social media feuds.

I really hope he pulls out of it. He needs a woman, a family, a community, as we all do. He needs friends and IRL social interaction. One of the most insidious parts of cancel culture and intimacy mediated by corporations is how scared everyone is of each other, how scared everyone is of being doxxed (myself included). I'd like to invite Devon, and men from this board, and a thousand others to just come chill with me, chat, go hiking, get out of their head for a bit, crash in my guest room for a while if necessary, whatever. But, it's risky, so I keep that to just people I already know and have vetted, so to speak.

I don't know much about Devon but I don't think he's alone right now. Granted, I haven't watched any of his Insomnia Streams but never did I get the impression that he doesn't have his own circle or having problems getting girls. He seems socially well adjusted, only his rambling on "blackpill" topics makes you think otherwise, but that is only one side of his.

To say he is going to mutate into a deserted waifu coomer like Carl is quite a stretch. His Simpson's video was pretty good. He was quoting many scenes which is unusual for his style but he made a very good point how pop culture classics program us over decades and decades to hate our God, our culture and, lastly, ourselves, hence brilliantly executed.

I met people who are and are going to be like Carl, and from the snippets of Devon Stack's personal life I don't think he will become one.
