As noted earlier, DuckDuckGo uses Bing but (supposedly) aggregates other sources. Whatever your thoughts are on DDG, Bing was never intentionally a free thought bastion, but simply wasn’t popular enough for woke Microsoft employees to meddle with. I’m not entirely clear why there isn’t a good search alternative, but it seems to be it is an expensive endeavor with little hopes of monetization and profit.
Traditional search is likely dead for alt content, and in turn, so will traditional websites. DNS and other backbones will probably eventually fall to the woke mob. I think the normie internet will increasingly resemble cable TV, where you basically just scroll between dozens of content providers that are effectively vetted and neutered by the platform overlords. You will have to form a bit of savviness to escape this sanitized internet, but it will be the wild west once you do, sort of like the internet of the late 90s, and things like IRC, ICQ, Napster, etc.
