I've been to Holland. Guys there are pretty afraid of approaching women. AND, this didn't come from any guy. It was from a bartender at a decent bar that looked good by any standards! I mean THAT guy was cucked.

For most this is probably a funny story, but for me it's just plain sad. I don't laugh with these kinds of betas anymore, he is just a product of a failed environment/society.

Look how fast he rebounded. He got lucky and landed in the right place. He should stay in Hunan because if he went up there to Beijing with you, he would have it much, much harder. Here is a tip for all you guys that think you know China or Chinese people and never been there before. Chinese Americans and Chinese Canadians are NOTHING like the Chinese in the mainland. The ones here are far more likely to be educated and are more Western-like than we give them credit for.
Date FOBs all you want, you won't be treated the same as meeting girls there. Get pissed off at their driving in the local Chinatown all you want, the driving in China is 100x worse. Think Chinese men are skinny, weak, and effeminate-like all you want, the ones inside "Real" China have 8-12 pack abs, smoke alot, drink alot, and would kick most of your asses.
For all you guys that have lived in China but live in a tier1 or 2 city. If you never seen local Chinese gang members take over a major street, seen firecrackers thrown everywhere for holidays, weddings, funerals, or bought your groceries at an outdoor market, you still haven't seen the Real China. Keep fooling yourself on what you think all Chinese people are.

Impossible. The Chinese govt. cannot and would never do such a thing. I don't think you know how China works on a basic level at all. They do not and would never use the press in this capacity. I have met local leaders before, they would be removed or worse for pulling a stunt like this. They actually do not encourage foreigner dating and the main CCP government has officially warned women about the dangers of dating foreigners before.
It does looks strange in a way, but definitely not for the reasons you listed.
