So, I just need to vent this evening regarding being an employee during this Covid-19 psyop.
It's really quite surreal. The day starts with all the masked employees waiting to enter the building standing on blue tape marks indicating safe distancing between us. Unsurprisingly, virtually everyone's standing in complete silence, eyes fixed upon their handheld screens.
As you reach the door your forehead is scanned by a digital thermometer to ensure your temperature is in the acceptable range to enter the building.
All breaks and lunches are now staggered to limit interaction amongst workers. No one makes eye contact anymore. There's no small talk. No more camaraderie amongst employees.
All day long breathing in your own exhaled CO2, face sweating, glasses fogging up.
Many, if not all of the former perks which made the workplace seem not so horrible are no more. Coffee in the break room? Nope. Company provided lunch on Friday? It's just too dangerous.
I dread going to work now. I am thankful I have a source of income, but have never felt more like a wage slave.
This is the new normal apparently. February 2020 seems like a lifetime ago.
Is 41 too old to become a monk? I want no part of this world any longer.
OK, fine. But the only pertinent issue is whether the people at your place of work RENOUNCE WHITE SUPREMACY!!!!!!
