Just throw a trash bag over it.
I lived in Silicon Valley years ago and they had these Farenheit 451 things swarming around some company's parking lot, not too far from where I lived, I guess they were testing them. They get lit up in the dark. Let's just say I was very tempted to use my camping axe.

Real estate group in Las Vegas launches fully autonomous security robot

VIDEO

A new spin to security. The Westland Real Estate Group has launched a fully autonomous security robot at its Liberty Village Apartments in northeast Last Vegas.

The security robot is the first in the world to be used in a multi-family residence in an effort to improve the safety and security of residents.

The security robot monitors the property through video and thermal-imaging cameras.

Apartment Manager Carmen Batiz says it has many features to enhance security.

"Besides patrolling, it also has a couple of features. Where there is an emergency on the property it has a button where the residents can click on it and it will automatically trigger for our security," Batiz said.

Batiz says she's seen improvements in security and plans to bring in more security robots.

Seeing as it's Northeast Vegas, this will probably be stolen by a meth head in a week or two. Don't underestimate the power of the cranked.

I have noticed very low prices and high availability on personal home cameras connected to the home's wifi network. No fees just a 100-200 USD up front.

Interesting.
All the better to spy on you with! Noticed at Christmas there was a massive amount of ads for that Portal camera from Facebook and about how it is so cheap and easy to connect... A quick look at Currys (UK electrical retailer) still shows heavy discounting...

I have seen a couple of movies now (sci-fi) where they show a camera in the home e.g. Possessor (2020). A good example of predictive programming and the way some folks want to go.

If some idiot already has a google home or alexa listening to everything going on there is no reason they will think twice about cameras.
