Fentanyl overdoses happen but a) usually when it's used to cut heroin, which isn't really a party drug in the sense that people would be passing it around a festival (although it can be used for coke as well)  b) a large number of overdoses happening near simultaneously isn't necessarily out of the question (a bunch of people in attendance could have gotten drugs from the same batch and taken them around the same time) but does warrant further investigation. We'll never get a straight answer from the authorities but I suspect someone or multiple people were going around stabbing random attendees with fentanyl loaded needles.</blockquote>
