"Empire" star hospitalized in alleged hate crime

This case is threatening to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Us here on this forum have known for a long time that the legal system isn't here to protect the average citizens; Western nations are the playgrounds of oligarchs, knocking over one anothers' sand castles. Nonetheless, it's the belief in the legal system that keeps most people law abiding; they courts don't actually DO anything, but the legend of a court system keeps society stable.

But with this, we're seeing the average person wake up and notice.

The elites have two choices: keep playing the game the way they have been, and the court system loses all of it's respect, leading to social chaos. Or start enforcing the law - not universally, of course, but some sacrifices will have to be made. Which elites will be handed over to the mob to protect the rest of them?

Will the celebrity caste rebel against their leash-holders? Most celebrities aren't that corrupt - drugs and orgies for the most part, videotaped evidence of homosexuality - but this only works as a threat against individuals; releasing dozens of tapes would implicate the directors and producers.

Heads need to roll for this, if law and order is going to be maintained; the problem is, the heads that roll have dirt on everybody else. Interesting times.

I don't know if this was already posted.

This is where the gay Tu-pac things comes from; from a gig he did after the attack.

It reminds me a bit of the Count Dankula saga. There is nothing that guy would have loved more than to become a professional shit poster after a viral Nazi pug joke. The guy was a nobody working in fast-food or something.

If you watch the whole gay Tu-pac video, you can see Smollett is floating. You don't boast you're the gay Tu-pac when you're reeling about the American nightmare. There's little that such a grievance pimp would love more to be in that position. His whole family is absolutely saturated in grievance narratives, despite them all doing well and living very comfy lives.

When I was much younger I had a strong association with the the sort of grievance culture Smollett lives in. It wasn't something I did often and I soon realised the impulses I was actually operating on, but there are a few occasions when I pulled a Smolett. I faked that I'd been wronged to use as leverage over other people.

But this is when I was about 8 and not a fully formed person. Jussie is 36. And he's surrounded by friends and family who will believe him no matter what.

This also reminds me of school. When a kid did something bad and the parents were brought in; sometimes the parents would want to know the truth and not get their child out of bad behaviour just because it was their child. They had a sense of honour, at least when eyes were on them. But others would believe anything their child would say in any case.

The left live in that universe, where them and theirs always have a Smollett to play as an excuse. There's never an instance in which certain people have responsibility for their actions. It can always be blamed on something else. And they no longer have enough fuel to hold together these narratives, so they make their own.

They aren't real people. They don't want any responsibilities.

The best thing about it is the back fire. As soon as he pulled the Barry O. get out of jail card with the stupid side dish of forfeiting your bond money I was laughing, waiting for the next stage in his downfall.

I can't think of anything the left has done that has worked in 3-4 years. Most of it ends up blowing up in their face. In particular this, Mueller, their marches and obstructionism, Kavanaugh, the resistance, #MeToo (rapist Argento), #TimesUp (rapey son) come to mind.

Here with Brexit, which has been sabotaged from day one, there are a number of possible betrayal outcomes, but it doesn't matter what they do, I am 100% confident it will end up being to their detriment. They're hollowing out the political, media and judicial trust with their antics. A lot are recognising Mueller is WMDs mark II.

I think I have laughed more in the last 3-4 years than the rest of my life combined. At these guys - the left. I guess it's what happens when the feelz take over. 2020 is beginning to look more and more like it will be better than 2016.

Mazel tov, Mr Smolovich.

So this is not the first time he has lied to the police.

That shit there with FOP is absolutely INVALUABLE to our cause.

Remember that at the end of the day the left relies on police to enforce the law. Most of them will just go along to save their pensions while everything is running smoothly. What matters is what side they pick when things break down.

The BLM narrative and things like Smollet drive a huge wedge between cops and the left. It almost guarantees that if we have a mass unrest situation where one side is distinguishably “right” and the other “left” that the cops will side with the right.

Chicago's new mayor-elect is an openly gay, African-American female who used to represent Republican congressmen against their Democratic opponents and campaigned against machine politics.

I think the cops will always side publicly with whoever wears the crown. Patriotism doesn't keep their kids fed.

But there's also a huge difference between having a flash-bang come through your window at 4am vs getting an anonymous call at 3am that it's time to GTFO.

Looks like Boston has decided that the Smollett method is the way to deal with crime.....

https://rollins4da.com/policy/charges-to-be-declined/

----------------
Charges for which the Default is to Decline Prosecuting (unless supervisor permission is obtained).

Trespassing
Shoplifting (including offenses that are essentially shoplifting but charged as larceny)
Larceny under $250
Disorderly conduct
Disturbing the peace
Receiving stolen property
Minor driving offenses, including operating with a suspend or revoked license
Breaking and entering — where it is into a vacant property or where it is for the purpose of sleeping or seeking refuge from the cold and there is no actual damage to property
Wanton or malicious destruction of property
Threats – excluding domestic violence
Minor in possession of alcohol
Drug possession
Drug possession with intent to distribute
A stand alone resisting arrest charge, i.e. cases where a person is charged with resisting arrest and that is the only charge
A resisting arrest charge combined with only charges that all fall under the list of charges to decline to prosecute, e.g. resisting arrest charge combined only with a trespassing charge
--------------
I like how some folks won't get charged but it leaves open selective prosecution of the ones someone wants to go after.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx Defends Smollett Decision, Accuses Critics Of Colluding With 'White Supremacists'

By Emily Zanotti | April 7, 2019

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx defended her office's decision to drop 17 charges against "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett and, alongside familiar Chicago community activists like Jesse Jackson, Jr. and Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL), lashed out at her critics, at one point even suggesting her critics were "racist" and colluding with "white supremacists."

The Fraternal Order of Police, Chicago's largest police union, held a protest Friday, attracting dozens of Foxx's detractors who demanded Foxx resign from office after a series of prosecutorial errors and bad decisions, culminating with the decision to allow Smollett to walk free despite what police say is ample evidence that Smollett organized a "hate crime" hoax against himself.

Saturday, Jackson's Rainbow PUSH coalition held a rally in support of Foxx. Speaking to a small crowd, Foxx defended her Smollett decision and implied that there were more sinister forces at work behind the collection of critics now questioning her fitness for office, according to Fox News.

"I have been asking myself for the last two weeks what is this really about," Foxx told the rally. "As someone who has lived in this city [Chicago], who came up in the projects of this city to serve as the first African American woman in this role, it is disheartening to me ... that when we get in these positions somehow the goalposts change."

"I'm committed to serving my term and should the people have me continuing forward," she added. "I stand with our partners in law enforcement every day. I have never, will never speak ill of our partners in this work."

She, in fact, did not. But other speakers at her rally were less guarded.

Longtime Congressman Bobby Rush, who represents chunks of Chicago's south side told the gathered crowd that “the FOP is the sworn enemy of black people,” and that attacks on Foxx are racist, despite the police department being led by a black man, Superintendent Eddie Johnson, who has been among the most vocal Foxx critics.

Rush also claimed that the Cook County State's Attorney's office is itself a "historically racist" institution, and that Chicagoans cannot abide the post being held by a woman of color, even though the previous state's attorney was a hispanic woman.

Another speaker "community activist" Ja'Mal Green went even deeper with his criticism, calling a collection of suburban Cook County police chiefs who, Friday, sent an open letter to Foxx expressing "no confidence" in her leadership of the state's attorney's office that serves their jurisdictions, the "blue Klux Klan."

A Chicago Sun-Times reporter captured the exchange.

Fox News reporter Matt Finn followed up on the comment, asking Foxx directly if she agreed with Green's assessment that local police chiefs are, in fact, a group of abject racists. Foxx said nothing.

She did, however, add that the "racial issue" was injected by "white supremacists" who appeared at the Friday rally.

Pictures taken at the rally supposedly depict a handful of "Proud Boys" and members of the "American Guard," according to Finn and Fox News, but only an amateur photographer -- self-described member of Antifa -- reported the presence of both groups on Twitter. The activist also claims to have noticed a "known white supremacist" in the crowd.

The "Proud Boys" say they do not allow white nationalists or white supremacists membership in their group.

The rally, also, had dozens of attendees, and the Fraternal Order of Police, when asked about the presence of possible white nationalists at the rally, by public radio station WBEZ, was reportedly confused and said they did not know who the referenced groups were.

t's not clear — and unlikely — that any white supremacists took an active role in organizing the rally.

Despite Foxx's claims, her critics have come from both sides of the political aisle and are not limited to the Fraternal Order of Police or suburban police chiefs. Last week, Retired Illinois Appellate Justice Sheila O'Brien penned an editorial for the Chicago Tribune calling on the courts to appoint a special investigator to delve into Foxx's handling not only of Smollett's case, but of several cases which Foxx's office allowed violent offenders to skate off with lenient sentences.

Over the weekend, left-leaning Tribune columnist Eric Zorn also called on Foxx to admit her errors, signaling that even reliable Democrats within Chicago may be tiring of Foxx's excuses. Incoming Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, herself a black woman, echoed outgoing mayor Rahm Emanuel's criticism of Foxx, and suggested that the city should get to the bottom of the Smollett decision and that Foxx should be willing to answer questions.

Last week, Foxx said that she would submit to an independent investigation. It's not immediately clear if her opinion on the matter has changed.

Kim Foxx grew up in Cabrini Green projects, one of the worst projects in America (since demolished.)

You would hope a prosecutor from such a background would hate criminals and crime. Instead you have a gutter-level hoodrat with a fancy degree, whose moral code is not the Ten Commandments. No, her moral code was drilled into her by the drug lords who ran her environment growing up: 1. Don't snitch 2. Fuck the police and (less importantly) 3. the white man is the devil.

All prosecution is selective.

When someone figures that out, life is NEVER the same again.

Especially when you realize it is "selective" based on who you know and how much money is in your bank account. Jamal and Daquan from the south side of Chicago won't get the same treatment and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. There is a different standard of justice for the rich in the US.
