#EndFathersDay

Great troll, this really is indistinguishable from actual feminism. I could easily see some Jizzabel cunt writing that Father's day amounts to "a problematic celebration of the historical inequities of our patriarchal socioeconomic institutions and their gendered, crypto-rape-apologetic consequences."

What is 4chan? I went there and googled and don't understand it.

Protip: Fathers day (if you have kids) is the day the ex sluts do their restart texts

4chan is the radiation zone in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the internet. It's full of weird shit and mutates normal people into trolls.

Genius.

The trick is to create something credible within their frame but ridiculous to the reasonable person.

Here's the hippocracy- the left says they are all about celebrating the fact that everyone is different, yet the greatest difference of all, gender, is considered to be an abomination.

Doesn't square at all.

We celebrate the difference between men and women. Of course we recognize that there are some women who are more masculine- ok fine, let there be lesbians, and some guys who are gay etc., but we don't go around saying that everyone should be straight.

The other side wants everyone to be "non-gendered" so that that the minority of people who are gay can feel more accepted.

I say we accept the reality: there are gay people, and there are straight people.. There are probably more straights than gays, but so what? Yes, don't discriminate against gays, but also don't try to impose a non-existant concept on to the rest of people, and children, who aren't gay, that they should be.

Also, you can't argue for women's rights and then turn around and say that women and men are essentially the same thing. If that were the case, then you'd be arguing for "people's" rights instead, and not any specific gender.

And how could you possibly advocate for govt sponsored healthcare to cover "sex-change" operations (it's really just body-modification like getting piercings) while the current system doesn't even fulfill everyone's basic needs.

For this reason, I'm surprised that liberals aren't up in arms over that tranny shit. There are only so many contradictions that a movement can carry before it crumbles under said contradictions weight. All this hippocracy on the gender issues is going to pull the left down eventually. Bad move.

I think there are a couple factors at play here. For starters, it's easier to throw the tranny stuff in there and have something to hang their hat on as a success rather than make tough decisions and take the criticism that will come with actually trying to do something to fix the healthcare issues long-term. Especially when anybody who tries to criticize that move can be labeled a bigot/homophobe/etc.

The hypocrisy of the left in general will pull it down, but not for many more years. As long as they continue to give handouts to the masses, they will remain in office, and will continue to change rules to make it more difficult to get them out.

I don't see as "handouts" if everyone is paying for it in the form of taxes.

Are the police or fire depts "handouts"? Those are essential services. I think that healthcare, education, housing, and food are essential. Until we take care of those issues, paying for unecessary surgeries should not be a priority.

People aren't trying to equate the tranny surgery with something like burn victim skin repair.

a very good summation of the fallacious belief system that is feminism.

I think this is why the current version of superfluous "feminism" is actually incompatible with real libralism.

The current crop is leaning towards a fascist angle.

^ Ya can someone explain how 4chan works
4chan is a bunch of overweight, basement dwelling fags, generally. They have a reputation for being hackers but that was way back before everyone knew about it. because anyone can post, it got swarmed with social retards.

They have however developed a great sense of humor, typical of most hopelessly unattractive men. Another famous troll they created was #cut4bieber.

The /b/ page is usually pretty entertaining. Watch out for child pornography and gore though.

I wanna do a post mortem on how they pulled this off.

If 4chan wasn't public, no one would ever know this was them.

It seems like the key to this was a series of established troll accounts working together.

Anyone wanna do a data sheet breakdown on this?

I was reading the troll feminists and switched over to digg.com and saw some of the real ones... and I can't tell the difference anymore.

The grand prize article has to go to the National Review. It's by "intern" Molly Wharton who reports this in her headline:

"#EndFathersDay Tweets Seek to Stop Misogynistic Celebration
A moderately popular holiday honors rape, child abuse, patriarchy, and more."

National Review is a conservative publication, but I don't think this writer is in on the joke. She is matter-of-factly reporting this stuff. She posts those hilarious "NayNayCan'tStop" Tweets as if they're for real.

I'd post the copy, but the article and Tweets she singled out have to be read to be believed:

There's an excellent reply in the comment section:

For those who do not think these people are feminists, think again.

Whether you are pro or anti-feminist, there is no longer any denying that feminism is the banner under which hateful ideologues operate with little to no objection from the mainstream.

Feminism has become exactly what you see above because the feminists who are supposedly "not like that" have allowed it. Most all of them continue to allow it. That makes them complicit and has fouled whatever good meaning the movement once had.

It is time for feminists to either strenuously condemn the diseased thinkers in their ranks, and send them packing, or to just accept that fact that they belong to a hate movement.

Its probably hundreds of thousands of people working together. 4chan would have to be the easiest way. You would have to participate in someone elses raids, cause odds are they wont in yours.

^^^Thousands? Is it that many?

Well it is nearly the 1000th most visited site according to alexa... (1038th) http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/4chan.org

But I guess half of them dont necessarily go on /b/ and most of the /b/tards(their name for themselves) dont participate in any given raid. I dont think any of them are geniuses, the smart ones probably are similar intelligence to us on RVF, its just their sheer number that makes raids successful.

One of the tweets: "Because masculinity is nothing to be celebrated."

No wonder men are so fucked. By the way, this NayNayThompson woman seems fucking crazy.

Yea, it's not even 'hyper masculinity' any more. They're not saying people have the wrong sort of masculinity. They're attacking it all.

Lunatic fringes at the end of the day, but they are a concentration of a general trend of feeling in the West.
