"either do so voluntarily to protect lives and livelihoods, or be forced to do so."
That's propaganda in a nutshell, twisting the truth.
The first part of the sentence is redundant. There is no "or" and no "voluntarily". Everyone is forced.
Confusing...according to some UK is a living hell right now but you say London is full of maskless people, shops without mask mandates and I saw the same in the news reports. Not many big cities right now have this, most are heavily muzzled. Seems like they're backtracking on internal hoax passport idea.I'm in London right now and surprised how free/open it is here compared to other places in mainland Europe. No mask mandate on the streets, open pubs and restaurants, some shops without mask mandate.
Spain is one of the most communist leaning countries in Europe. You will not find freedom there. The state will find you though. Here's more pertinent information:

These maps reveal the truth about population density across Europe
It’s often said that England is the most densely populated large country in Europe – typically in discussions about the nation’s rising population, andcitymonitor.ai
From the article:
I could provide more background on that but in a nutshell it is mainly due to the embargo placed on the Franco regime by the United States as well as Europe. So Spain had to mostly grow its own food and produce its own energy.
Anyway, when you leave the populated regions you can quickly find yourself in completely uninhabited areas. A lot of that has become farmland of course but there are a ton of unpopulated areas left in Spain. When I take the AVE from Valencia to Madrid I see nothing but fields until arriving at the Atocha station. I mentioned Teruel above - well, the population density in that region is 9 people per square km. That's less than Finland!
So this gives me a lot of hope to find a place where I can hide out from the globalist take over. Maybe not forever but hey at this stage every day, every week, every month counts.

When they started banning people from using their own solar power I lost interest. I now live quite near Spain so can pop over, but it's not somewhere I'd consider living, particularly with a future of lockdowns coming.

I see solar panels on houses all the time, so I'm not sure what you are referring to. Can you explain?
Also, did you catch the news about the Madrid elections last Sunday? The Left was completely TROUNCED by PP and the mayor Ayuso, who also happens to be quite a looker. Now admittedly Madrid isn't Barcelona or Valencia but it's a start. I think the Spaniards may just have had enough of the socialists/communists for a while.
In general I would agree with you. There's something about catholic Spain that alternates it between two extremes: fascism and communism.
If only it wasn't so cucked, i'd love to move back. Rural Spain has some wonderful value, geography, weather, lifestyle there is all great. But the levels of cross the board compliance from the population & the very feminine political culture there, i can't see any swingback being much more than fleeting.

It can be said for all the countries in the European Union, especially the western ones. You just can't escape, even in rural areas.
i tried to buy land and I went to the most rural and less densely populated areas of France. But even there you can't really disappear in the wild. There's no true wilderness anymore there.
Plus the locals will see as a "foreigner" and will watch what you're doing.
If you're young and plan on building your own house on agricultural land without permission, it will go eventually to the ears of the local authorities and the troubles will start.
It's either you're already a local in a rural area or a "foreigner" but with assets and you're able to buy a farm or a house, which is out of reach for me financially.
Unfortunately I've learned that it's almost impossible to escape in the western countries. And it's even more difficult when you're from the city and have no connection to a rural area. I wish my grand parents didn't move to the cities in search of jobs back in the 50's.
The only place left I see where you can escape in the wilderness is Siberia, Patagonia, some parts of Australia, Canada and the US but you've got to deal with the visa, the language barrier and finding people that will welcome you and teach you the skills to survive in the wilderness. No easy feat.
If anybody as done, I will gladly hear from you!
Siberia is where people were sent to die. I would not recommand it to anyone as an escape.Great post.
Siberia is a very hard gig though. Was chatting to a Russian the other day about life there. Just very hard to really live well, unless you have proper money at least. Freezing cold winters, very hot summers with crazy humidity & mosquitos swarming everywhere.
You'd really be going all chips in on the rugged lifestyle making do out there, and thats being ethnically Russian & speaking the language, understanding the system, not been seen as a foreigner etc.
Honestly i think it's a pipe dream of 99% of Westerners that talk about living from the land somewhere like that.
As ive felt from day one of this, the key is to get somewhere liveable for you, whilst far enough aware from the main control points of the Great Reset. There's still parts of Eastern Europe where this is possible, Ukraine being one. The political corruption & inefficiency of the state here, means you can barely ever come up against the sort of beauracracy that will come down on the West.
Of course they'll yield to it all on the surface, but in day to day reality, the population are far less controlled than the socially engineered morass that Western European neo liberal hell realm societies like UK have become.
You can slip through the cracks here. Certainly 100x more than you can in the West.
Great post.

When a country releases you from their gulag, do you expect them to be otherwise freer than the Western countries? I bet they have other restrictions besides the gulags. Gulags are generally a bad sign.... and then it'll be worth it?
I mean, sounds awful, but if there's freedom at the end of the tunnel?
A few weeks of actual gulag beats years of pretend 'freedom'.
Didn't Ukraine lock down again recently?
Dark Sky Map
If you want to know what areas are sparsely populated, this is the way to check.
Sparsely populated areas have darker skies at night.
Teruel, Spain has some of the darkest skies in Europe, so it is indeed sparsely populated. There are some areas in SE Netherlands that are darker than the rest of the country, but over all, it's pretty bright there. Poland has some empty areas with dark skies.
The problem is, if the area is sparse enough to have dark skies, a lot of times there isn't even a close enough town to offer stores, and a decent pub. You have to really want a remote area to really live there.
