European energy crisis due to war

Germany has few natural resources, so most goods + energy need to be imported and turned into products sold with a profit.
So Germany is heavily relying on international supply chains.

Plan to destroy the German industry and prevent the country from regaining sovereignty and disable EU as a competitor.
1) Lay havoc in the middle east
2) Instruct NGOs for refugees to invade Europe (especially Germany), increased labor cost through social welfare system
3) (COVID) disrupt international supply chains for manufactured goods
4) Use Russian-Ukrainin war to seperate energy supply / colloboration between west and east europe
5) Enforce disruption
The problem for Germany with this is that Merkel has been welcoming them in with open arms the entire time... So how does one destroy from without something that has been strong from within.

And nuclear power plants
And now the green party

The RAND Plan
US strategy paper: Germany must not buy Russian gas

According to a leaked report, the state-affiliated U.S. think tank "RAND Corporation" is said to have planned as early as January to pressure Russia into attacking Ukraine via an aggressive EU foreign policy. It also anticipated the energy crisis.

The document, reported by the Swedish newspaper Nya Dagbladet, has it all. The RAND Corporation, which was already involved in U.S. propaganda during the Korean War as well as the Cold War, sees an emerging Europe as a competitor to the U.S. - on an economic and political level. The only way to prevent that, it said, was to plunge Europe into chaos by adopting a sanctions package that would plunge the European - and especially the German - economy into a systemic crisis. The Green parties were thought to play a central role because their strongly dogmatic orientation made them easily ignore economic arguments.

Literally, the U.S. strategy paper states:

Stopping Russian deliveries could create a systematic crisis that would be devastating for the German economy and indirectly for the European Union as a whole”, it states, and believes that the key is to draw the European countries into war.

The only possible way to ensure that Germany rejects Russian energy supplies is to draw both sides into the military conflict in Ukraine. Our continued actions in this country will inevitably lead to a military response from Russia. Russia is clearly not going to leave to the massive Ukrainian army’s pressure on the Donetsk People’s Republic without a military response. This would make it possible to portray Russia as the aggressive party and then implement the entire package of sanctions, which has already been drawn up”.

USA as the main beneficiary

The damage to German-Russian relations is said to be so great that the two countries cannot return to a reasonable level of talks. The RAND plan explains in minute detail how failing energy supplies will lead to total collapse in the EU. The U.S. could benefit by as much as $9 trillion by having U.S. companies face less competition in the world market. The RAND Corporation moved out the day after the revelation, denying being the author of the document & calling it "bizarre" without elaborating on its content.
The cynicism is heavy. The United States is essentially using Russia as a proxy to destroy its own allies. With friends like these...

Obviously, the USA is to blame for this, but it is ultimately allowed by the cucked, stupid Germany and the entirety of the EU.

If something like this happened in Turkey, the American Ambassador would immediately be summoned and humiliated in public, the Incirlik air base would be closed, and there would be serious talk about withdrawing from NATO unless enormous compensation and future concessions were given. Say what you want about Erdogan, but at least he cares about his people.

Oh but the USA has military bases in Europe blah blah blah.... USA doesn't have the capacity to attack or occupy Europe anymore, it's a failed 3rd world country that got humiliated by illiterate peasants in Afghanistan.

What Germany and other EU members are doing amounts to sheer sado-masochism, a severe form of Stockholm syndrome and chronic low self-esteem. It's simply horrible.

Come January, the situation will be interesting. Barring some solution, Germany, Poland, and w. Europe will be paying exorbitant "free market" prices, uncoupled from long-term, stable "price agreement" practices of old. The US, Norway, and others will be happy to fill these orders at peak price. The common German will have a choice - pay (and forego other purchases) or go cold. Maybe the nice folks at Blackrock can arrange a loan to Germany so they can buy American gas this winter.

Meanwhile, in "war-zone Ukraine," it is entirely foreseeable that Russia continues operation of the gas lines into Ukraine (or not?). To date, Ukraine is mostly getting their gas - largely from Russian supply. If I am wrong, please correct me.

In a few months, Ukrainians may be better off than Germans - at least better protected from General Winter.

Putin said today that he is not at war with the people of Europe. A big step to prove it would be to keep the gas running to Ukraine, whilst he continues his SMO (or defense of homeland, once the new regions are assessed). "Sorry western Europe, we have no way to deliver. You closed trade with us and then some mysterious force bombed our 20B pipeline to you, blocking that option for a very long time."

Even tree-huggers will be jealous - of lowly Ukrainians - once they have cold kids at home.

Close friend in Germany just said they went to his grandma's apartment and put the max setting on her thermostat at 20c or 68f. Things haven't event gotten severe yet. Also they canceled Wednesday church services to save on gas and now the heating is off entirely at some services, so people are getting sick.

This is real and it's going to kill people.

US troops out! Away with Ramstein! Away with the warmongers!

op-ed

Until proven otherwise, the obvious must be considered a working hypothesis: The Americans blew up our most important energy pipeline. Those who blame the terrorist act on the Russians would also tell us that a dead man with a knife in his back killed himself. After blowing up the pipeline, the USA can starve us for lack of alternatives. At this point, there must be a definitive end to this worst transatlantic disaster alliance since the American bombs dropped on defenseless civilians in 1945. In its history, US-driven NATO has produced nothing but rubble, dead people, destroyed countries, over-indebtedness, currency collapse and endless suffering. No conflict with the Russians, from which the U.S. and its NATO supposedly "protect" us, could ever have produced so many deaths along with the ruin of our economy and finances. Russia has never attacked us, has always delivered and has even vacated our land. Is this what an aggressor looks like?
Germany must no longer be misused as a command center for the endless US wars.

The troops of the so-called Western "protective power" with its great value-based must be kicked out of Germany. Donald Trump had already partially started this by troop withdrawal order. That was the right way. It is clear that kicking them out cannot be done overnight, but it must be the No. 1 political goal. Military support and payments for the murderous war in Ukraine can be stopped today. The stupidest possible statement that our weapons save lives can no longer be allowed to pass our politicians and the war activists in the media manipulatorium. It is not at all understandable, why we should convey our pensioners and people with little money finally into the financial end and into the pure housing shortage by million-fold immigration, only, in order to shoot the US-Americans the entrance to the black sea free. That is what the whole conflict has been about since 2003 and nothing else.

Bottom line: stop the insubstantial slogans, get out of the misery and get out the American troops.

I'm pretty sure you are well known in history. If so, you also know that Germany is not a sovereign state.

A guy named Carlo Schmidt made a clear statement about the German sovereignty in 1948. Here is what he said:

"We have to deliberate and decide, under confirmation of the Allied reservations, the Basic Law for the organization of the sovereign powers of the German people in one part of Germany released today. We have not to make the constitution of Germany or of West Germany. We have no state to establish."

His full speech can be read here: http://artikel20gg.de/Texte/Carlo-Schmid-Grundsatzrede-zum-Grundgesetz.htm

The Federal Republic of Germany is a creation of the Allies.
It should serve for the administration of Germany after the war. Article 146* of the Basic Law was not implemented!
We have no peace treaty or treaties.
The 2+4 Treaty is not a peace treaty under international law.

* Article 146: "This Basic Law, which shall apply to the entire German people after the completion of the unity and freedom of Germany, shall cease to be valid on the day on which a constitution comes into force which has been freely voted by the German people."

But before that happens, the Ami has to go home and only then can there be a German constitution that is voted on by the German people.

This may be the reason why Germany is stupid and cucked, as you stated serveral times.
Thank you.

It's embarrassing. Almost like waiting at the pharmacy for your 3rd booster with your mask on while the maskless pharmacist talks about spending the commission she got on a trip to Bali.

Why don't you go tell them that and it have repaired then? Crisis averted!
I just did, this is what they said.

"Unless rapidly repaired, German authorities stated that the three damaged lines (both lines in Nord Stream 1 and line A in Nord Stream 2) are unlikely to ever become operational again due to corrosion caused by sea water.[1] The Washington Post reported that the incidents are likely to put a permanent end to both Nord Stream projects."

So it's either they get repaired quickly, or the end for the pipes! Pray for them Samseau!

Look at the second page of the document, that contains the Rand copyright... It is cropped differently than all the other pages, not showing the papers edge, or page number. This supposed leaked document looks fake to my eyes.

Good spotting. Clearly a fake document. Wouldn’t be surprise if the article itself is Russian fake news (“disinformation”) given Rand has documented Russia’s disinformation efforts.

A friend in Germany owns a condo wherein the building association does not charge you by how much heat you use; it tracks thermostats across all units; they observe what thermostats say compared to the outside temperature, and then does some arithmatic to figure out how much your unit was actually heated.

The thought is that they are not on the bottom floor, so if their neighbors below them crank the heat, they benefit and should pay a fraction of the cost.

The obvious difficulties here are:
1. There's no way to just save money and let it stay relatively cool, even if you go out of town.
2. My friend is building a small plastic box around the thermostat and will just climate-control what the thermostat reads.
3. If you crank the heat but leave windows open, it doesn't charge you any more.

People toying with energy systems will get really bad this winter.
