European Paganism and their Modern Day LARPer's

Friendly reminder that neo-paganism isn't bAsED AnD ReDp1LLeD at all but rather a scheme of the smallhats to turn people away from Christ, as evidenced by Reddit soyboys banning jokes about Hadrian destroying Judea but allowing run-of-the-mill neo-pagan memes mocking Christians as Jew LARPers

It's the 1960's "New Age" (AKA Luciferianism) all over again.

Different generation, same trick.

Daily reminder they worship Odin, a One-Eyed Father God.

I am essentially talking about the God of modern theism, or creationism, that is tied to modern evangelicals, as opposed to the God of classical theism. When modern westerners hear the word God they think of the old man in the sky variety of modern theism, which they rightly disbelieve. It is natural that people choose atheism before modern Christianity. I did too, until I learned more about classical arguments for God (common for Catholicism, Judaism and Islam). I know many Protestants subscribe to classical theism as well, but Protestant discourse is what is responsible for the fake-God of modern theism that most people disbelieve. There are some problematic Protestant notions that are tied to this God, such as the emphasis on "faith and scripture alone" which disincentivizes ritual and have largely transformed Christianity into a dry make-belief in the West. I fully sympathize with the Pagan critique against this kind of Christianity, because I consider myself an Orthodox Christian with a pagan soul - and Orthodoxy satisfies my pagan desire for a faith that is rooted in bodily ritual and natural intimacy. This is why I am largely an opponent against post-reformation Christianity in the same way traditional pagans are (even if I respect individual Protestants). The difference is I regard pagans as fundamentally incorrect and immature in dismissing the church altogether (although I understand where the sentiment is coming from).

I think that is traced back to the Renaissance where God was first depicted as the old man in the sky and the Humanistic movements at the time. I don't think it is directly Protestant aside from those streams evolving in parallel.

I've noticed some disturbing trends when dealing with neo-pagans. They never formulate arguments in favour of their alleged belief system and will never give you details about what they believe and why you should believe it too. What is their doctrine? Where do their morals come from? Which God do they worship and why? Instead, they focus on attacking Christ and Christians.

They mock you for believing in Christ. They try to equate Christianity with Judaism to steer people away from God. Neo-pagans cheerfully try to equate Christianity with modern Leftism by using the most cherry-picked examples of Leftist clergy that they can find (without any regard for historical Christianity). They don't care what brand of neo-paganism (or even atheism) you follow so long as it is "White" and so long as you reject Christ.

This isn't by accident. Ancient paganism was purely transactional and lacked any real sense of orthodoxy. All that mattered was that you did the proper ritual in the proper manner. Nothing inside your head or heart mattered to the gods worshipped by the pagans. The gods did not love their followers, they only gave them good things because those followers paid for them via a sacrifice.

Ancient Greek paganism had the stories of human sacrifice: Polyxena and Iphigenia, Cronus who devoured his babies in sacrifice, Zeus asked for young teens to be killed on Mount Lykaion, Artemis was famous for her demands of human sacrifice. Sparta had a festival called Carneia which involved the killing of young boys, and even Athens is alleged to have sacrificed humans during Thargelia.

Even transgenderism can be found in ancient paganism by looking at the cult of Cybele. Male priests would dress up as women and often castrate themselves to find favour with their goddess. We know that there are many Biblical passages against male effeminacy and genital mutilation (see Deuteronomy 23:1). The women of the cult of Bacchanalia would steal possessions from patriarchs while 1 Timothy 2:11-12 teaches us not to suffer women ruling over their husbands).

It was into this dark, benighted world that the Apostles came to teach the Good News. The Good News is that God loves us and has paid our debts for us. All we must do is to be kind, good, and strong like He is.

One thing that right-wing neo-pagans need to prove is how the worship of the old gods can provide an alternative to Christianity for an objective standard of morality in the West. Which their ancient Hyperborean ancestors didn't have. Making people build temples to the Greco-Roman pantheon or statues of Odin isn't gonna reverse the moral decay of America and Europe which happened in the first place because ((())) took power and drove out Christians from schools and the government. These LARPers don't realize that opposing Christianity is exactly what the elites want and the latter are the ones who would benefit the most from a decline of Christian influence. And what sort of "Scriptures" will pagans substitute for the Bible? The myths of Zeus cheating on his wife multiple times or Loki being up to some degenerate scheme?

Knowing that neo-pagans can't provide any answers to these questions, we can only conclude that they're right-wing atheists at the core. Either that, or any attempt of making spirituality on their part will end up bordering on the occult or Jungian esoteric self-worship. Actually, there already exist fringe cult communities dedicated to idol worship, you know, the ones referred by those indie psychological horror films.

All in all, the deception of modern-day neo-paganism is that you need to reject Christ to save your nation and become "based and red-pilled." This in itself lies on a materialist worldview that denies the existence of anything spiritual and views only the physical (in this sense, "nation" or "culture") as what matters for human existence.

Very good post. I can add to it the fact that these LARPers don’t even realize that the very foundation of Western Civilization is Christianity. Without it we would all belong to little warring tribes with Iron Age technology with mass illiteracy. The technology and advanced civilization we have never would have developed.

Guys like Adam Green or Bjerknes are good people who have done a lot of good work on many subjects but who are completely misguided on this fundamental issue, partly because they have grown up in a secular/judeized hollowed out cultural environment where nearly everything about Christianity has been distorted. I think someone like Adam Green who is genuine but misguided is much more likely to turn around and see the light than say, Jordan Peterson.

Alt-right and neo-pagan adherents often fail to appreciate how important control over sexual desires, the enforcement of monogamy, condemnation of homosexuality, raising the status of women (by ensuring that most women would become mothers and wives), helped the West develop as a civilization. Men who master their sex drives are more productive, vigorous, more disciplined, and create better families. Roissy (Chateau Heartiste) discussed this theory in the past.

Here is an article by Canadian professor Ricardo Duchesne (which references Kevin MacDonald) which explains all of the aforementioned points: https://archive.ph/uIYFo

Christianity always had a lot in common with ancient Greek thought, and this is part of the reason why Europeans embraced it: https://archive.ph/itZ8k

Not to mention solving the lopsided sex ratio at the time of the classical world:

There's this veneer of decent, but ill-guided Nationalist nature lovers, with Neo-Pagans, but the more you dig, the more you can see how spiritually malign it all is, and how corrupted the serious ones are.

They hate Christianity with a passion, the like of which is second only to the Jews. They are 'non traditional' in every which way (even though they loudly claim otherwise), while literally worshipping demons, knowingly or otherwise (not that that matters to the demons).

See them LARPing in front of signs and ancient sites, that they know nothing of the intent of those that built them. What energies are they opening themselves up to ? The Druidic faith was extinguished without a word written down. They will do streams about 'how to pray', but are blindly walking into a system they know nothing about. The spiritual danger here is clear.

At best they're useful idiots of the New Age, at worst they're literal demon worshippers, seeking material gain by 'appeasing the Gods".

God knows what kind of dark energies even the well-meaning types open themselves up to in their pusuits.

It all reminds me how much we all need the compass of Christ to take us through this life, and away from malign forces and groups such as these.

Not to mention solving the lopsided sex ratio at the time of the classical world:
When I saw the URL I immediately thought of the 35-million male surplus in China, and imagine my surprise when the cause for the gender numbers gap in the pagan world turned out to be practically aborting baby girls, especially when the father had preferred a male heir instead. Paganism and Communism are anti-Christian and demonic in nature.

Amen, the biggest plot hole regarding them equating Christianity to modern leftism as well as disregarding history is the fact that Christians historically fought back against both organized Judaism(the famous 109 statistic) as well as foreign invasions from the middle east and asia, it wasn't really until the early post modern era when the west started to embrace secularism and globalism a lot more which was also the same time a lot of the ideologies we face today were birthed. Christian scholars ranging from the early church all the way up to the reformation wrote about the wickedness of Judaism. They just repeat the same soundbite of "Christians tell us to worship jews and open the borders!" and its never substantiated outside of cherry picked Bible verses taken completely out of context(often from modern liberalized translations), or they just use low hanging fruit via boomer neocons as a strawman.

Whenever I stupidly tried to enlighten them in the past, all they can retort with is vain anger fueled rhetoric and talking points. I'm convinced they're a mixture of astroturf shills as well as impressionable buffoons.

And now it's sold as empowering. Whilst opposition is sold as Patriarchal oppression.

They definitely right under God's Patriarchy it remains forbidden and sinful.

Gotta repost an image I uploaded earlier. I'm convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that neo-paganism is a Talmudic psyop of the "controlled opposition" type. Why would Reddit mods for example rant against the Emperor Hadrian doing the necessary thing to destroy the rebellion of the Christ-rejecting Jews, and at the same time permit the usual edgy pagan LARPer posts of "Christcucks" or whatnot accusations of Christians promoting Jewish subversion. Note that the pinned post refers to the phrases "Christ-killers" and "Judeo-Bolsheviks" which implies that they're going after Christians who dare make fun of the tribe, not necessarily anyone who could be labelled anti-Semitic.

I was always aware of Pagan LARPers, but what convinced me they were a psyop was how much presence they have in the dissident right circles and spaces on the internet whether its figureheads or commenters, they talk out of one side of their mouths about unity and not causing division, but then the other side is always slandering Christianity in the most vulgar ways that would even make a jew blush. Any time Christianity is in the spotlight, they're always there to ankle bite and spread misinformation which leads me to believe that someone is scared of Christianity being the leading idea of the resistance because it would actually prove a formidable force compared to edgy LARPers who just want to remain insular.

As for the Reddit post, thats further proof of how both anti Christian and philosemetic the west has become. Simply acknowledging the heinous acts Jews have committed in the past is now "antisemetic", but its okay to moralize to and insult Christians even during their holidays.

This makes sense, more sense than the demands that the ancient pagan gods had for their worshipers. It has often been said that the truth is expressed simply, the "red pill". No wonder Christianity spread so much throughout the ancient world. No more ritual beurocracy to worry about.

Good observation. This was effectively what gave me a bitter taste towards the LARP crowd when they had piqued my interest years ago during a spiritual confusion phase. I couldn't help but observe the incessant punches seemingly directed towards members of the dissident right exclusively, with hardly any criticisms of other parties or financial oligarchs. Anywhere a pagan reared his head, infighting, down-spiraling, and finger pointing ensued. This well-poisoning has me now convinced that the "pagan revival" movement is a purely artificial psyop, designed to splinter and disarm the threat galvanized Christians possess.

This reminds me of why I moved away from pagan/occult circles.
Growing up amongst (left-leaning) pagans, I once tried to take the plunge after years of casual reading and interest. Couldn't find any good information without constant 'And remember how bad/dumb/ineffective church stuff is!'

It was almost like practicing their 'faith' was just a break in the action from the main event of saying 'People who go-to church are dumb.'

Even reading subreddits today, that substance hasn't changed.
'Oh, church-goers will tell you this, but communing with spirits really works this way! See how dumb they are? Who wouldn't know this?'
'Here's what we believe at TST! And we believe it because OUR TOTALLY REASONABLE QUESTIONS ON THE CONTRADICTIONS OF YOUR FALSE GOD WEREN'T ADEQUATELY ANSWERED FOR US!'

Studying Christianity, you actually get information on the faith. The theory, practice, history, etc. The ad hominem attacks are minimal, in my limited experience.

I once associated with some Baha'is a few years back. Even they were quick to mention
'Some organizations, like the church across street, think they have a monopoly on truth. But no one has a monopoly on truth! Especially not *them*!'

Apparently the anti-Russian, anti-Orthodox, neo-Nazi paramilitary organization "Azov Batalion" are Pagan LARPers.

They apparently use the trident as their symbol.

If I were a neo-pagan, I would ask myself why people who worship a dead Jew guy on a stick are the fiercest opponents of Judaism and the Zionist elites. Or why would I disavow the last one thousand years of European history, when Europeans progressed from barbarian tribes to feudal kingdoms to continent-spanning colonial empires, and all of this thanks to the Christianization of Europe.

Apparently the anti-Russian, anti-Orthodox, neo-Nazi paramilitary organization "Azov Batalion" are Pagan LARPers.
I see how they shouldn't be supported, but it's a stretch to call all Ukrainians neo-Nazis for resisting the Russian invasion, or tell them that they're just Russians in denial and so they must be ruled under Moscow.
