I've noticed some disturbing trends when dealing with neo-pagans. They never formulate arguments in favour of their alleged belief system and will never give you details about what they believe and why you should believe it too. What is their doctrine? Where do their morals come from? Which God do they worship and why? Instead, they focus on attacking Christ and Christians.
They mock you for believing in Christ. They try to equate Christianity with Judaism to steer people away from God. Neo-pagans cheerfully try to equate Christianity with modern Leftism by using the most cherry-picked examples of Leftist clergy that they can find (without any regard for historical Christianity). They don't care what brand of neo-paganism (or even atheism) you follow so long as it is "White" and so long as you reject Christ.
This isn't by accident. Ancient paganism was purely transactional and lacked any real sense of orthodoxy. All that mattered was that you did the proper ritual in the proper manner. Nothing inside your head or heart mattered to the gods worshipped by the pagans. The gods did not love their followers, they only gave them good things because those followers paid for them via a sacrifice.
Ancient Greek paganism had the stories of human sacrifice: Polyxena and Iphigenia, Cronus who devoured his babies in sacrifice, Zeus asked for young teens to be killed on Mount Lykaion, Artemis was famous for her demands of human sacrifice. Sparta had a festival called Carneia which involved the killing of young boys, and even Athens is alleged to have sacrificed humans during Thargelia.
Even transgenderism can be found in ancient paganism by looking at the cult of Cybele. Male priests would dress up as women and often castrate themselves to find favour with their goddess. We know that there are many Biblical passages against male effeminacy and genital mutilation (see Deuteronomy 23:1). The women of the cult of Bacchanalia would steal possessions from patriarchs while 1 Timothy 2:11-12 teaches us not to suffer women ruling over their husbands).
It was into this dark, benighted world that the Apostles came to teach the Good News. The Good News is that God loves us and has paid our debts for us. All we must do is to be kind, good, and strong like He is.
