Reddit creeps me out in the way that it acts as some digital 'safe world' blanket for the socially anxious. A quagmire of mediocrity and procrastination space for those with dead end jobs or college work. Stopping people from taking the time to reflect on their lives with any meaning and instead reposting John Oliver jokes to one another for imaginary internet points.

Seriously the amount of people on there who need some 'tough love' is baffling. Men wanting a pat on the back for the most irelevantly mundane of sob story achievements.

It's people who's lives are so lacluster that people in real life rightfully stay way from direct contact with them. The majority of that website seems to be the most pathetic pity party going.
