Just fear mongering by CNN and the government. They want you to evacuate but then won't let you back to your property to protect it from lootes,
I wonder if these clowns from the networks and teh weather channel standing out in the weather for ratings have their next of kin on in a zip loc bag.
They'd loose it if they just went back 30 or 35 years.

My place is under severe fire warning. Possible evacuations, depending on what happens in the next 8 hours.
At least the West Coast has a legitimate reason to wear masks now.
I've been in fire weather like this in northern Canada. It was a sunny day, then it got red like a 360 sunset like you can see, then it got more dark, then when ash started falling from the sky like rain we really started to get nervous. Soon it was almost dark as night and we had to use our headlights to drive out. It's a very apocalyptic feeling. Nature also gets freaked out too and one thing I remember was it going from 'sounds of nature' to silent, like ghostly silent, no birds, bugs etc especially when the ash started to fall.
I am not really following the news on this one.. But what are the odds of this being a case of mass arson?

And so is everyone a believer now in global climate change? There is a prediction that Phoenix, Arizona will not be livable for human habitation (at least as we currently live) within around 30 years, due to increases in summer temperatures. I suppose people (those who can afford it) will live in super insulated homes, and walk around outside in what almost appear to be spacesuits.
