Would love your take on this.
In politics and media lately we are seeing a strong rise in "fact checking" and "disinformation" propaganda in the last years.
For example last week 80 groups of fact-checkers have sent a message to YouTube accusing it of being "one of the major conduits of online disinformation and misinformation worldwide".

I have done some research into these groups.
All these "fact checkers" are pro-injections, are against (extreme) right wing politics, pro-EU, pro-official-government communication, pro-immigration, are anti-christian and are for strong pro-governmental climate interventions. Anyhow they have a very strong selection bias in the "facts" they choose to present.
To give an example of the anti-christian sentiment, they are pushing this "pedophile priest narrative" these people have been pushing in movies and media since WW2.

To me they seem to be the typical very well financed internationalist political NGOs. Not only getting money from the famous billionaires, but also well financed by our governments.

Personally I think think the elite is fearful of the quite large share of the population that is becoming totally unresponsive to their propaganda and finding different sources of information contrary to their interests and wanting to take power back into their hands.
What are you thoughts?

YouTube is allowing its platform to be weaponized by unscrupulous actors to manipulate and exploit others, and to organize and fundraise themselves.
