As I've said before, I'm probably one of the few liberals here. I mean, I believe that food stamps/welfare should help people. But the system is probably abused to no end. I've never known anyone on food stamps/welfare (that I know of), so it's hard for me to know.
Either way, I just don't get that mentality. I'd hate myself if I was that dependent on hand outs and that fat.

Plus the food is really shitty and addictive now. The reason why there were so few fat people in the 1970s weren't only because of change of mentality and lack of exercise. The food was basically all organic with very few addictive ingredients. Also the portions were what now goes for child's lunches. Just look at the Mars bar back then or the soda or beer can - they were tiny and people had enough after that.
