OP: Fly to Florence, Italy if you can swing it. Its the leather capital of the world. I bought 4 custom full grain leather jackets there for a $1000. Get sheepskin for warm weather. Cow hide for colder weather. You can negotiate some if you buy two. Most of the shops will customize rhe coat fit for free. Bonus- run game on Italian women and tourists there. PM me and I can send you the name of a family shop that has been there for a few hundred years and incredibke jackets. In the US, an equivalent coat will run you 800-1200 each.

That's good to know. I might visit the Scandinavian countries this year but if I am able to add Italy, shall PM you for more information. Thanks for sharing the info.
