For years in CS 1-1.6 you could spray a custom avatar on someone's dead body or a wall after killing them. We used to put all kinds of funny and insulting shit on our sprays. It was all part of the psychological warfare to get someone agitated so that their shots would be slightly off even a millimeter. Made all the difference in the world.

The real mental fuck was when someone would go spray Tub Girl pics everywhere (serious warning to those not familiar: DO NOT go google this. It's disgusting).

I'm still traumatized from that.

Anyhow, I recall playing a co-op game (not CS) with an ex once. When I started giving her some standard shit, she practically had a nervous breakdown. I was a big asshole apparently and yada yada.

THEN she heard me play the same game with a good friend of mine, heard me talk the same way, and she goes, "Ooooooh, so that's just how you talk to each other when playing games. I thought you were just being mean to me earlier."

She is an ex for a reason. Dumb over sensitive bitch.

I learn something new everyday, TK was a CAL player hater.

I was in CAL to, got recruited by friends in a local LAN Cyber Cafe.

I haven't touched a video game since BF3 which I loved dominating on.


Never was a fan of strategy, rpg, or whatever that shit is called nowadays.

FPS was my shit, you know, until I found pussy, Harley's, and the gym

I retired from CAL to play WoW. I played semi-casually and was still part of 2 strong clans. CS was good warm up for WoW PVP, back when the bragging rights were still huge. After college, I was just an admin on the clan servers, kicking occasional ass, banning kids, cheaters/hackers, most girls, anyone acting gay, bigots, etc. I was like Tuthmosis back then the more I think about it because I would clown them hard before banning them, making the whole server laugh and join in. Good times for sure. It kept me out of trouble at night when I was not working and training MMA.

Then sometime after I hit 30 I logged in one day and did some competition matches, could not even get 5 kills and died 30 times. Got clowned by some much younger guys from my clan. They could not believe how hard I sucked. Happened a couple of more times, then I realized, I was washed up and my eyes were just too old to keep up. I got old overnight. Uninstalled it, haven't played it since. I went from once getting 100 kills to 5 deaths in a high ranked public server, and once clowning 3 famous pro members of Clan 3D, making one rage quit, to being as good as an average COD player.

I still miss it alot to be honest, but I know better than to play it again. Funny enough some those same clan mates have given it up for good too for the same reasons. My how times change.

I don't want to think how many hours of my life were wasted on cs_assualt and de_dust2. Then you add in playing TF on Quake and HL and I really feel bad. Could have been chasing girls :/
