Check this out:

This likeable man made a big mistake by not talking with a good male friend about his relationship.

It took me all of 54 days to get married to my Filipina from the time I met her online and we will be married six years later this year. Proposed in 18 days. Sure, my mentor talked to me about my situation, but I let him talk to my wife on camera. I also didn't waste four years in a dating relationship.

We decided not to say the L word until we met in person and I gave her the ring.

I feel for the man. Offering to give money on his part was a big mistake.

Filipinas have always been promiscuous, why I don't know. It's a matriarchical society despite what online goofs tell you. Just look at the number of women with kids from different 2/3 different guys and a foreigner online to pay for it all

As for the Covid1984 BS, I am getting more satisfied by the day with the decision to sit it out here. Due to the Philippines falling into China's orbit you won't be pressured into taking Gates' Frankenstein's gene therapy as the Chinese vaccine is a traditional one. Won't rule out that Sputnik V will become available as well. You might even find a nurse willing to empty the needle in the sink for a monthly salary, not ruling it out.

My wife recently mentioned a similar thing about the rudeness. She called it 'uneducated' behaviour. So there certainly is a pattern there. I personally haven't experienced it. I think it has more to do with the financial troubles many people are experiencing.

The Covid rules are a many and the people are too simple to see through the scam. Haven't seen the beach since March. However, due to their undisciplined nature nobody follows the rules and enforcement is very lax. I casually walk with my mask below by nose/under my chin past police officers, it's not a problem. Sometimes they start enforcing for a day, never fining people. Same for social distancing - it's non existent. At the gym its business as usual, and the parties have never stopped.

Now compare that to what is happening in Europe. I prefer staying here
Here on Ormoc City, the government just signed to get Astra-Zenith's vaccine, which is 70% effective. Which means 3 out of 10 people will still risk getting sick.

Think I will keep taking my vitamins and taking my chances staying home, wearing a mask and face shield.

Had to go to Tacloban last week to get my Visa extended, an NBI Police clearance, DFA for a marriage advisory, and to PSA to have my wife's passport changed to her married name. 2.5 hours each way driving.

We had to obtain permits from 4 different government agencies to be able to drive there for the day without having to pay for a 14 day quarantine stay at a hotel. Had to have a sanitation inspector from the. cIty inspect our house to isolate at home.

When we returned to the police checkpoint at the city limits, they just scanned our city QR code and waved us through. Did not look at any of the paperwork we spent days rounding up.

Where are you in the Philippines? I am in Ormoc City, Leyte, Eastern Visayas.

If you can meet in person, there are women who may be interested. I went to a nondenominational church before CV19, and the men and women all came up to me and my wife and greeted up. The women were really well-dressed, nice and sweet. Bet there were some virgins among the group.

I find it impossible to read facial expressions with those darned masks.
Im in Manila.utter Nightmare it has become. The province is much more chill. I can remember a time girls where desperate for a date with even a average foreigner .nowadays even as a attractive foreigner you Will struggle in Manila.its become like the west the face masks and 24/7 covid hysteria has made People go insane.dont believe me? Check out Tinder in Manila ..look at the profiles they are posting. A lot of tattoo degenerates looking for their perfect sugardaddy no hookup angry ladies gays etc.. check out raffy tulfo as even provincial women can also be scammers. The God fearing sweet and loyal filipina is gone

Delete the "might" from you find. For a decent salary you can even get hospitals doc signing your letter. ;)
It is good to be in these places. Even though one could do well without the hysteria.
I am happy to have escaped the phils with their crazy corrupt old dude at the top, but that is just me.

Glad it has worked out for you. Foreigners need to be advised

I must have married the last one, if they are gone. Absolutely wonderful woman, very caring and kind, best woman I have been with, by far.....

The vaccines will cause more harm than good and should be avoided...

Until they can be no longer avoided. Astro-Zeneca has partnered with Sputnik V (thereby greatly angering the EUSSR moguls) after their initial trials showed poor performance

The Russians have been developing a vaccine for MERS for years (part of research project) and outpaced the dying West, which was definitely NOT planned by Davos crowd. The Frankenstein toxic brew mRNA is pure poison. Don't let yourself get fooled by these laughable claims. Astro-Zeneca is half that and half Sputnik V and therefor one step above Moderna and Pfizer and one step below Sputnik V/EpiVac. I heard Novovax and J&J will be traditional vaccines as well.

The best is no vaccine of course. The virus is a nothing burger and hasn't caused excess deaths anywhere (in 2020)

Also be assured that Sinovac will be on the market in the Philippines. Sinovac is a traditional vaccine too.

The place is a dump where nothing functions and everything is a farce

Don't tell them to their face or on FB though, they got laws stating that a foreigner badmouthing The Philippines can be subjected to deportation. Fickle and brittle on all levels. Instead repeat that cheesy tourism line. It's more fun in the Philippines!

Pretty sure there is a generational gap at play here. Younger girls in the Philippines have been raised in an unhealthy society and it shows.

Complete farce. Some LGUs require 14 days quarantine for domestic travel.also the immigration itself is a farce even in Manila. They told me to come back after 1 week for fingerprints after spending hundreds of dollars on swab/flights and hotels. I cancelled the whole thing.some of the rudest People ive ever encountered

Hands down. I think Philippines is below some African countries in terms of easiness to deal with the gov, cleanness and food.
It is a dump but that is a quite a good thing as some peso will and do go a long way.

The best inmo has been the easy visa there and you can get weapons. But the men drink and gamble, so one must be more careful than in many African countries where guns are not that widespread due to extreme high cost.

Glad I am not in Manila or Cebu. Social media has not been a positive for humanity.

^^ Tinder does not represent reality anywhere on the planet. No offence as I am guilty of this too but you cant spend most of the time on the internet and tinder etc and think this is a reflection of the real world, dont let yourself go down that rabbit hole it will make you bitter and jaded.

You shouldn't take the Philippines too seriously. That's a mistake many people make. They take it personally.

I often chuckle out loud when thinking about the stuff that happens here. From the toothless construction workers shouting 'HEYOOO JOEEEE' whenever I pass by to the naming customs among lower class Filipinos. Boss-Jay, Kondet, Sherrylove, Jamaica-Lynn LeBronJames, Erwin-Rommel are some of the pearls I've come across

It goes the opposite direction as well. Not very smart people acting very smart and speaking in never ending sentences filled to the brim with cloaked ambiguous terms and phrases. This is especially the case at government institutions. You ask a simple question and get a 5 minute long pre-studied response in unintelligible Pinoy-English. Hilarious.

I sometimes just scroll down the comment sections on newssites to get a good laugh, especially when it's related to Covid1984. Pure gold.

Today my wife told me that the government has passed a new law. All children 12 year and below should from now on be seated in carseats when in a car. My niece-in-law is exactly twelve, already ~1.65 Meter and I'd say about 70 kg.

I couldn't stop laughing when imagining this. Top notch comedy!

Nothing unusial to have a pickup truck with 5 seats with 7 adults and 3 or 4 kids inside, and another 8 riding in the bed of the truck here.

Seen 6 riding on a motorbike, too, no helmets.

That may be true but if you are a foreigner and don't follow the laws you may regret it. We will need to buy four car seats when we go next time to drive family around.

Haha yes, it is hilarious. Quite funny actually. It does not improve the food quality however.

My two biggest issues with living there are food quality and friendship. Are there places where they have good seafood? I was amazed at the lack of good fresh fish in a nation of 7,000 islands. If I lived there I think it would be difficult to find good male friends (well, that's a problem in the US as well, but at least growing up here we at least have some family and schoolmates and old friends). But really, the food was very unhealthy, and very heavy on meats, particularly fried or grizzly and fatty processed meats. I was expecting a diet much more like Latin America with tons of fresh fruits along with some fish, due to the location. The sushi in Taiwan is incredible, and I don't understand why it's not more popular in the Phillippines.

Good points. I'd like to retire there with my wife someday. Having a wife all but takes care of the companionship and her family will make for a lot of other people to do things with. Seafood is something I have been hoping to have a lot of!

Seafoods should be gotten from the market .. as for male friendship its really hard as People are very simpletons. Some are xenophobic and small minded as well. Deep conversations are Hard to come by. Upper class filipinos are generally more easy to and open to foreigners as well. Sadly most of the lower class only see foreigners as a ATM

Creating good fish based food requires skill, smartness and a somewhat of a work ethic. Qualities you just will not find in Philippines.
You can buy living fish from a fisherman and do it yourself. Then you know the fish is fresh.
