What struck me was his self destructive hedonistic life style, his use of an extraordinarily vast vocabulary, his naked admissions of brutally honest inner monologues, and the kicker-I thought he was a late twenties burnout with the  extraordinary ability to make cultural references I related to-only to discover he was just a man my age who did not give a fuck and did unspeakable acts (without condoms) to strangers (females only, the gays stole his underwear but he is not one of them) he met on the internet while inebriated (until he became sober, good for him).</p></blockquote><p></p>
