They can get midfoot arthritis, plantar fasciitis, bursitis (especially behind the ankle), bone spurs, ligament injury, stress fractures.
Side effects of heels seem to be more common in the overweight women who insists on wearing heels.
I'm guessing they are still healthier than flip-flops though.

Incidentally, the topic of high heels is covered in the book I'm currently reading, 'Theory of the Leisure Class' by T Veblen. He basically states that wearing high heels advertises to the world that a woman is not available for manual labour, and is therefore higher status. A man with a woman in high heels on his arm becomes even more higher status - because it signals to the world that he is so well-off that he can keep a woman around as an ornament on his arm (as a trophy) instead of letting her do productive work. It was a fascinating insight.

Meh I'm with the anti-heel brigade. Sure, it makes them look glamorous when you're walking with them, but that's not what's most important.
What's important is that when you remove the wrapping, you don't end up disappointed. The bed is the most important place for a girl to look good.
High heels mess up your perception of height, and more importantly, leg length.
I'd far prefer women went without all of their tricks, no: makeup, high-heels, bras, shaping clothing, hair colouring and color contacts. Every women can please walk barefoot with close-fitting thin clothes and no makeup, so I know exactly what I'm getting.

I'm not a fan of heels. It's not that I mind them, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. They don't enhance anything. I do appreciate them as a sign of effort and resistance to feminism, but not for any sort of eye candy.

You guys are missing the point. High heels serve a distinct practical purpose. When the girl is much shorter it adds extra height so you can doggy her from behind standing up without stooping down and messing up your back.

Nah, I've just come across a couple arguments that I have a lot to say about.
I'm not worried about getting banned, I have plenty of other alts lying on standby when that happens. I like a lot of the discussions on RVF, but I've learned that the mods can be real prickly crybabies whenever someone says something they don't agree with, even if no one's talking to them directly. And that they'll ban someone for being a "troll" with no prior warning. I've accepted that if I want to participate in discussions here without censoring myself I need lots of accounts.

High heels have their place. If I go to Psychology lecture at some university and spot a bitch in high stiletto heels, that's attention whoring, period, end of story. Will probably be an easy bang if you have the right type of game or are of a 'certain demographic,' i.e., good-looking. Otherwise I'll put money on her being intolerable.
If you're at the club and wearing flats, you homely as hell, and not in a good way. Now, if a broad wears heels out, but keeps flats in her purse for walking back to wherever you parked the car... that's a winner.

High heels look good but can cockblock you. They're painful so they put some girls in a bad mood. Not to mention, during pulling time, if you even have to walk a block, it just kills the girl.
I wouldn't mind the girl wearing them on a date or when we're hanging out after we've banged, but in most situations a girl in flats or low heels is much better IMO. You have more flexibility and mobility, and its easier to vibe when she's not spending half her mentally energy on walking because of her 6 inch heels. Smaller heels still make her look good.
