The best odds I have found are -240 for Mayweather at Gold Coast. Other places are around -270 or -275.

Is there a way to bet for KOs and stoppages before the 12th round? It appears the only bet is choose a winner like a money line bet.

Yes. You can bet for example Mayweather by decision, Alvarez by knockout, etc. You can also bet the fight will go under 11 1/2 rounds or over 11 1/2 rounds. The way I do it if I think the fight will be close and that it will go the distance is make two separate bets, one for the fighter I pick to win and one that the fight will go the distance, that way the only way I completely lose is if Alvarez knocks him out. This also reduces the damage in the event of an unfair decision.

Do you know how to translate those odds into the fractional types ones? Hang on a sec, I'll see if there's a way online. I could, but my numerical skills are dreadful, it's almost like I'm numerically dyslexic!

It means you have to bet $240 to win $100, which means you are getting 1.42 odds.

Ah OK. It's just in Britain, we have like 25/1 for example, which means if you put £1 on, you get £25 back. Or, as is more likely in this case, it would probably be something like 1/3, which means you'd have to put 3 quid on, to get 1 back. Not sure what those U.S odds would be in our system, because as I said...appalling maths skills.

If that's the way you guys do it then you are getting 0.42/1 for every dollar you put in and can probably convert the dollar into the pound.

Ha, I'm sure I (I mean google) can manage that. Not bad odds IMO. Put $100 down, get $142 back. I'd risk that for Mayweather on points, if that was indeed the odds. If it was just for him to win, I'd defo do that.

Looks like heavy late money on Mayweather, 5D has him at -320 now.

What time is the actual fight set to start?

The main event usually starts at midnight (Eastern Standard time)

I placed a bet on Mayweather at -260 three hours ago. When I got in line at the MGM Grand, the odds were -240. When it came time to place my bet, the odds had gone up to -260. That line was extremely long. Anyone seeking to place a bet at MGM Grand should probably head there now.

I'm seeing -300 now. That's a ton of money on Money for that to happen. A buddy of mine just saw -325 and decided to pass on that and take a prop bet.
