I still think you should give users like a one day window where they can delete their old posts/threads.

Would solve a lot of issues.

If someone is concerned with being doxed, they can delete old threads, and the forum can remain open.

Always struck me as not super beneficial that since we're a forum concerned with opsec that we can't delete posts. Just musing, but I think it makes sense.

Great idea. I second this. Roosh would you consider giving users a short window in which they can select a few old posts of their own to delete? Thanks.

Understandably Roosh is not sharing who hosts his server. Hopefully it's with a reputable company that does not care a lick about Cancel Culture.

But I'm curious if he's thought about having his owner server. Realize that this is a crap ton of work and expensive. I would be open to paying a monthly membership fee to ensure that this website always has the lights on.

I only suggest this because of the speed at which they're trying to neuter Parler. Parler was naive to think it could be a Twitter clone and not be vulnerable.

Thanks Roosh, you are doing a good thing here. Feels good to be somewhere where the admin has our back. I think it would be a good idea, like others have said, to get a one day window to delete posts.

This thread is for members to discuss my recent announcement concerning forum access. Read details here.

I have also decreased user data that is retained by the software. More changes will be announced shortly.

You are free to test out what non-members can see by viewing the forum from a private browser window. Important: the forum will be public again so don't start posting private details. Assume everything you write is still public.
This is a wise move. I think big tech will want to take us back to the old days of the internet before there were social media websites where specific forums used to exist for specific group of people. Roosh your testimony has had a big impact in my life so I trust that God will work through here as well.

Update:
In the past 13 days that the forum has been closed to non-members, I have not identified any outside threats from the media. I have not even found a single Twitter comment attacking the forum. Now that Biden is inaugurated and there are no acute attacks against dissidents besides the drip-drop torture of deplatforming, I believe it is safe to begin returning the forum to normal. I have just re-opened registration for those who want to see the rest of the form. By February 1, I will make a decision on making the forum visible again to non-members.

I think your precautions in recent weeks were well judged, and probably the right temporary response next time. These hate filled wokerati will just move on if they cant even find you for a bit.
