Freemasonry - History, Influence, Symbology, Thought

'As above so below' is actually the perfect example of both the importance of symbolism as a map of the cosmic order and of the inversion of them by freemasonry and associated cults.

As mentioned before, Christ is the ultimate representation of this principle - the joining of Heaven and Earth, Life and Death, and so on. It is codified in the Lord's Prayer in this way: 'Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed by thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, They will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven'. Another way of saying this is 'as above so below'. Another way is the Jesus Prayer, which contains the same pattern. The Father who is in Heaven (above) lays downward to Earth (below). In other words, as above so below. Being a shorter sentence than the Lord's prayer, meaning must be condensed, so the shorter version is impersonal, yet because of it at the same time more generally applied - the world of matter, below, is dependent on the spiritual world above, of which it is but a manifestation.

Satan, which means 'adversary', by its very name suggests only an existence in opposition, and so therefore those aligned with him as well like the freemasons, they MUST invert - the symbols as everything else. In this case, instead of the below being subject to the above, they mean (and work toward) the opposite. It is 'their will' that should be done on Heaven as it is on Earth - 'do what thou wilt shall be all of the law', is a clearer formulation of their inverted creed.

The lower imposing itself on the higher, and insisting that the higher proceed from the lower, instead of the natural (and true) other way around. This is exactly where democratic ideals come from, trying to extract authority from those who have none, as do all of modernity's revolutions: individualism - the imposition of the self over the community and tradition from where it proceeds; materialism - the primacy of matter (substance) over spirit (essence), with proceeding aberrations in economics and politics - capitalism, communism. Protestantism, I am sorry to say, also comes from this very same inversion: personal interpretation of Scripture that overrules Orthodoxy which is kept by hierarchy is another form of imposing the low (the opinions of the masses) on the high (in this case, the highest high: sacred doctrine).

And these are just a few of the things contained in these four words, as above so below, and the destruction that was possible, at all levels, simply by relinquishing this one symbol to the enemy. And we have gave them, not just one, but all to be inverted away. Therefore, they must be reclaimed, and to be reclaimed they have to be properly understood.
I think this inversion of divine order is what the star of David represents.

A lot of my ancestors were fairly high ranking Freemasons. Is there any clear evidence to suggest that generation curses are still applicable under the new covenant?

I have heard anecdotally there is. We are talking about some serious weird paranormal stuff happening to the children of masons. I don't know anything personally just research.

The biggest inversion - in your eyes - is coronavirus.
Revelation 13:16 is an inversion of Exodus 13:16.

'And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.'

vs.

'And it shall be as a sign in thy hand, and as a thing hung between thy eyes, for a remembrance: because the Lord hath brought us forth out of Egypt by a strong hand.'

You are making a big mistake hating Jews, some of you at least. Why do you think modern wars rage where the lost 10 tribes allegedly went? From Afghanistan, to Armenia they went. True Jews are being exterminated by false Jews.

Masonry progenitor, Hiram Abiff was of Tyre, he was a Phoenician.

Sephardim Jews are former Phoenicians.

Ezekiel 26.2 Son of man, because Tyre hath said of Jerusalem: Aha, the gates of the people are broken, she is turned to me: I shall be filled, now she is laid waste.

Shortly after the fall of Carthage, Phoenicians disappeared and Jews, known landlubbers, suddenly were to be found everywhere in Mediterranean, like Phoenicians once. In that time also, rabbinic Judaism was born and matrilineal lineage (Phoenician tradititon, foreign tot patriarchal Judaism) replaced traditional biblical patrilineal lineage.
And you know what Ezekiel said about Tyre.... bad, bad things.
Nowadays, the symbol of Tanit became the famous 5-pointed star, aka 'morning star' (Venus), which is to be found in many places around the world (USA, USSR, EU, China, Morocco, Tunisia, Italy....) but always in Phoenician-like trading centers like Singapore or Hong Kong. The red cross of the City in London is actually the red cross of Genua, a trading, oligarchic republic together with Venice and Pisa. Do not forget about Milano, the city of serpent, aka 'biscione' (the beast), obviously a reminder of Genesis 3:15.

'Dominus' to whom the City serves is Baal/Bel/Marduk/Adonis/Osiris.
Tanit is Sarpanit/Isis.

They are the people obsessed with bloodlines, and thus with Mary Magdalene.
Notice the main Islamic heresy (Shiism) is also based on 'bloodline' of woman.

The 'sacred heart of Jesus' in Roman Catholicism as well as heart-shaped Rosicrucian symbol of Lutheranism are actually representing the head of serpent.

AFAIK, only Armenian Apostolic Church recognizes neither Mary Magdalene nor Mary Salome as saint or blessed.

I suggest to everyone to read Robert Eisenman on early history of Church ('James, the brother of Jesus', 'Paul, the Herodian' etc), which are Dead Sea Scrolls. St James not Paul/Saul of Tarsus (another Phoenician city, previoulsy known as Arwad)! No faith without works!
Judeochristianity is the true, original Christianity. No wonder that it almost disappeared, together with non-rabbinic Judaism (Karaism).

A good documentary, for those interested:

Corrupt Freemasons religious cult? Inside The Brotherhood, Martin Short, Granada TV (1989)

Martin Short's documentary and book "Inside the Brotherhood" was current at the time of publishing 1989.
Since then, the world (and British Freemasonry) have changed.
I believe Freemasons are nowhere near as influential as they were in 1989.
As some other commenters pointed out: membership of the Lodges have been declining with younger people increasingly disinterested in joining.

The bottom line is: if you are a true follower of Christ and value your salvation, you should not be a Freemason.

I have a friend who joined them a few years ago, and he said they now have a big recruiting campaign aimed at young men, and that up to a point it is actually working. The Masons are seen now as being "retro hip." He said what he mainly enjoys about them are the weekly dinner gatherings, and the friendships that develop out of such associations.

Yes, I have heard that too. Freemasonry (particularly the British Lodges) seem really desperate to attract new members.
Not sure how long these new, young(er) members would last.
Freemasonry is not about being "retro hip" (whatever that means). Freemasonry is not about collecting for charity. Is not about dressing up for a Lodge meeting and wine-and-dine (in the US: only dine) afterwards. It is not even about the Rituals, funny code words and handshakes.
The core of Freemasonry is the Masonic Science: the hidden meaning behind the Masonic rituals. And that is where the occult comes in - that is why you should not join Freemasonry if you are a true follower of Christ.
