Interesting. I just did a quick Google on the ownership of Gawker media which runs Jezebel. He's a single, in-shape forty-something guy worth a couple of hundred million - a textbook Machiavellian alpha. (happens to be gay, apparently). Doesn't matter to him what message his media puts out, he is crushing it.
