It's amazing the amount of mental gymnastics that flat earthers will do to explain a very simple fact, like how it's pitch dark in an early evening in NY while the sun is still up in LA, you can see stars in the NY sky when evening sets, but somehow can't see the sun still shining over LA, the sun which is trillions of times brighter than any star in the night sky!

The explanation I got was that there was some kind of giant lampshade around the sun that prevents half the earth from seeing it, but even then that wouldn't work as the shape of that lamshade would have to constantly shift and twist as the edges of sunlight on Earth aren't cylindrical, as one would expect on a flat disk, but irregularly curved due to the spherical nature of the earth:



This is a daylight map of the world on a summer morning East Coast time. It shows morning on the east coast, while California is still in complete darkness, with the sun directly over west Africa. You can see the sun in the eastern US, but can't see it on the West Coast -does not compute on a flat earth model-.

If the earth were flat, you would also always see the sun from mountain peaks. FE makes absolutely no sense unless you have a low science IQ and/or are in a confused cognitive dissonance stage where your sense of reality is out of whack due to the realization of how much you are being lied to in your daily life, which puts some people in a state where they become unable to separate blatant lies from reality, leaving them very vulnerable to the cognitive machinations of the likes of Cass Sunstein.

You have to give the deep state a lot of credit, their schemes are downright diabolical.

Or a different question: How come that you have places in the world (e.g. Northern Finland) where in summer the sun doesn't set, whereas in winter it hardly rises?

Another example: In the Caribbean, the amount of daylight hours throughout the year fluctuates very litte. In Northern Europe however, it fluctuates greatly according to the season.

We KNOW the government has infiltrated flat earth.

But you cannot infiltrate, subvert, cogdis, or otherwise jew yourself out of the math. Which is why I am emphasizing it.

This guilt by association attempt of a guy I know nothing about is petty. That post was about stars and visuals. I found a video with decent quality. You can watch them yourself, you know? That was the point.

Assumption you make: the Sun is as big and as bright as you have been told, everything else equal.
